So main camp is the returnees plus Lindsay, hayne, schlender, el khouri, batchilder, Farrah and Cole. Don’t think I missed anyone I believe Isaiah Shantz is still around. I think so too, there was just so many names and I knew there wasn’t really a whole lot of guys in rookie camp so I knew I’d miss some like him and necak |

Speaking of Ontario free agents, did that Hendry kid show up to camp? They talked about how he was an NCAA guy in the AN a few days before camp. Weird for him to just not show up unless he was allowed to skip rookie camp. So the main camp roster is: Cole Farrah Steinman Warren Lindsay Necak Batchilder AFG Grenier Hackett Johansson Morin Mullen Mackinnon Diamond El Khouri Hayne Schlender Shantz Auger Cormier Collard Desnoyers Loshing (injured) Lounsbury Mercier Pekarcik Sampson Smith Sumpf Vidicek I may have missed a couple? Then a few guys that may not report or weren’t listed on the cuts but who’ve probably been cut. |

This group doesn’t look to me like a contender , more of a mid to low top of the pac team , there gonna need a few more guys that produce if they wanna beat , Rimouski or Chicoutimi or even shawinigan they look like there right there as well .

Are you uhhh sure about that? You may come back with an argument for the other teams which I may not know as much about but: 1.) We have a very large number of returnees that are another year older and developed, plus a coach with an incredible winning pedigree who has a habit of bringing out some of the best in players. Here are our guys and what I think their point projections would be (If all healthy) : Vidicek: 90-100 pts Loshing: 90+ pts (If healthy) Desnoyers: 80+ pts Pekarcik: 70+ pts Collard: 70+ pts Lounsbury: 60 pts Sumpf: 60 pts Mercier: 50 pts Smith: 40 pts Morin: 60 pts Grenier: 40 pts Mackinnon: 30 pts AFG: 30 pts Johansson: 25 pts Steinman: 33 wins Warren: 15 wins We have a very solid lineup that will for sure take us to Christmas where we can look at what are the real weaknesses after a few dozen games played. Right now the only spot I would want to really upgrade would be on D but will have to wait and see how this team plays defence |

Who exactly do you think is on Shawinigan team to come even close to Moncton roster wise? Their forward core is completely underwhelming. It has a few young quality players but just to start Moncton has 2 guys who have a potential of being 50 goals scorers if they played a full season. On D Shawinigan has tourigny and lanthier but Moncton has 3 NHL drafted guys, 2 of which just attended team Canada camp, a great 2 way defenseman in AGF & one of the top offensive D in the league in Grenier. Perhaps you are looking at the looking at their roster for an exhibition game which had 2-4 players at most that would make the team , none of which would have top 9 or top 4 roles. |

I would say Marshall is trying to get the fans going ! lol, Moncton should be a contender for a number of reasons... but the Moose were supposed to contend last year (not a dig on the Moose , because Moncton should have had a better playoffs than it did also).

The Wildcats have acquired Aiden Diamond from Rimouski in exchange for 12th Pick (BAT) in the 2025 Draft

Gotta imagine that he takes one of the 4th line spots. Moncton has some good size on the team. Hopefully his guy uses it. I like adding him and it makes sense since they only carried 16 or 17 forwards, including Loshing and Auger, to main camp. Hopefully only paid a mid-round pick for him. |
