be an early 2nd if not first but i think he is going 1st rd this year. as long as he devolopes the way hes suppsoed to Kearsey wasn’t drafted. Lukas Cormier was in the 3rd. He’s got big shoes to fill to surpass Lukas. Not saying he can’t but you’re putting the cart before the horse. You can’t base it on saying he’s ’supposed to develope’. No one is a sure thing, if they were, players would never disappoint and drafting be easy. Conrad has the size that Kearsey and Cormier didn’t, that’s the X-Factor for me. If he can use his size well, he’ll be in a great spot. |

Kearsey Didnt get drafted because he has major holes in his game Cormier went late becuase of his size but he is a great dman. he is ranked 25th to 45th by alot of top tier scouts and analysts. Conrad is a Stud dman. I wouldnt compare him to Kearsey and Cormier they arent the same players. |

16yr old dman, Emile-Alexandro Lemieux-Goupil, i found has also looked pretty good this game. Hulton had mentioned in a pre-draft interview that he didn't expect any 2024 selections to be part of the 24-25 team.....but this kid looks strong(strength) at 16. Glad I’m not the only one who sees that. He’s poised. I hope he makes the cut. I like his game a lot, I think you start him in AAA though. He should be the first call up, but I don't want to rush his development. One thing that strikes me is he seems a bit undisciplined. Something that can be fixed easily, especially as a 16-year-old. His game will mature. Jim is good at finding diamonds in the rough. |
