opening weekend is here and there's lots to be excited about. This team is riding a hot pre-season streak of 6-1 and are hoping that translates into the regular season. Team is underrated on paper but without no true star power how will they manage early against a tough division rival?
keys to victory tonight:
-keep CB's top line at bay. This Titan team did a very good job at shutting down the opposing top players in the pre-season and they need to do the same tonight.
-stay out of the box/disciplined. CB's powerplay will likely be threatening, the less penalties means the less dangerous opportunities.
-throw lots of shots on net. CB has a young and inexperienced goalie tonight, pepper him with shots and we may see a break through fast.
my prediction - 4-3 victory for the Titan.

Sharkey suspended for tonights game
Arsenault and Peddigrew out sick/injured
Lazare healthy scratch.
Dickson will start on the 1st line tonight with Goguen and Huggan, let's see how they do.

Did something happen to Dickson? I didn't see him in the third at all. P-E took his place in the 3rd.

Wow Belanger was so good tonight. I thought coulombe player very well to I thought he was roughing up cape breton really bad tn Belanger really upped his game wow.. for a smaller guy he was everywhere, wish he would've gotten the hat trick on that second short-handed chance. Him and Lallier played well together and could form some good chemistry moving forward. I thought the 1st line had it rough, They could not keep up with the Newcombe line. They were a -2 and Dickson ended up getting demoted after that. Fleming also made some pretty big saves. Coulombe reallllyyyy impressed me and it makes sense now why they kept him, he throws the body and can skate really well for a bigger frame. That 4th line had some good chances. overall great game and need more of the same today.

This team has is very exciting to watch Coulombe did a very good job at getting in the CB players heads.
Belanger looks like he's going to have a good year has such good vision.
Daniele player well tonight made dome very good passes out of the zone and looked comfortable.
Goguen will start scoring he had plenty of chances today though he was gonna get one.
All in all this team had no problem handling CB I figured even with lavoie, Milota, Squires out they would have been more dominant. Only two games though

That's why I mentioned they weren't there of course it changes when they are back but CB still had a deadly lineup without them and they just didn't seem at there top.

My point is it’s so hard to judge teams now if the Islanders beat the Cats today which they won’t but if they did and Moncton is missing players it’s hard for us to compare them. Bathurst has a good team, a team I am interested in following but Cape Breton were missing 3 difference makers this weekend but good in the Titan for taking advantage of that and getting the easy points early on will certainly mean something at the end

Rhyno has 5pts in 2gp i think we will see a call up sooner than later i think Dickson and frechette need to start proving they belong in this league.
when peddigrew is back i can see one of them being held out of the lineup as Coulombe has outworked both by a mile so i feel its beteween them two to keep there spot i see Dickson being the odd man out.
