what ever happened to a big shot from the point. Make defenders be scared up at the top of the circles!!! Who on their backend has such a heavy shot? Conrad perhaps...? Nobody else, imo. That’s the problem now. These kids don’t take slap shots any more. When was the last time you seen a winger come down and let one go.

A winger coming down and blasting a shot has less chance going in now then years passed. I will say that I am a big fan of Donald Hickey in goal and I think he will be a strong #1 for this team as an 18yr, 19yr and 20yr old.

That was brutal. I actually left after the second. Grabbed a sub and played Cyberpunk instead hahaha
May have to get a purse that can fit my Steam Deck if the games are going to be this painful to watch.

Some spots a goalie just can’t get to. Regardless. I still think they gotta get back to a shot first power play, get away from lookin for the perfect shot, which usually tries to come threw the middle threw about 8 skates and 4 sticks… keep it simple and work from there. There isn’t a forward that’s gonna put the team on their back and score willingly

The culture on this team is absolutely terrible. They know they're going to lose and you can see it watching them. Hughes is one of the worst with this. Something needs to change if there is any hope for the younger players. Hughes leading in many areas like hits, shots and must be right there on points. Focus on the defensive zone coverage and you may find the problem. Still early and lots of young d so don't count them out yet. Ruccia average last night and hickey great so far. Ruccia will come back strong after a weak outing.

Charlottetown better come prepared tomorrow, if they play Bathurst the way they have been playing, it’ll be a humbling experience. Bathurst just took down Moncton who was only missing Smith I believe.

My comment was in regards to body language and how you can just tell that there is absolutely no hope for a comeback, because even they don't believe it can happen. Hughes seems to sulk it seems, and as an overager he should be hyping up. It's junior, multiple goal comebacks are possible, but you just feel they aren't going to do anything when they're down a couple goals.
