The Islanders wrap up September with a home ice contest this afternoon.
We have the Halifax Mooseheads coming in to town and hope to get to 2-3.
Game time is 2:00.

Halifax has been real good for some reason. Ruccia vs Rousseau tonight both goalies are there teams best players right now

Halifax has been real good for some reason. Ruccia vs Rousseau tonight both goalies are there teams best players right now Halifax has been real good imo because as soon as the puck drops they don't stop working for the full 60 minutes plus and a lot of credit to that has to go to their new head coach getting them all to buy into what he's selling early on.

That was a great game! Excellent and quick turnaround from that game against SJ. A ton of energy from both teams.
Nice to break Halifax's winning and perfect penalty kill.

Shields was buzzing all game. Great game from him.
Hickey is a stud. Well see how he adjusts once the teams learn his tendencies. That will be his real test. How he can adapt.
Nice to see Butler get a couple on the board.
I posted last game about negative body language and a loser attitude, but seeing Conrad going to his whole defense corps and the goalie before the start of each period is great to see, especially from a younger player. If the younger players need to lead by example - so be it, but it'll be good for them to learn those leadership skills now.

Hickey was a beast. Excited to see this kid come into his own.
