Over the years there have been others who have encountered Training Camp problems and LIVED to tell the tale.

Can anybody think of some?

You completely miss the point on everything. For the hundredth time...all he had to do was call. It's not about life or death or missing camp or any of your other stupid analogies. Everyone knows why he didn't report and there was no reason why he shouldn't have called. He owes everyone an apology...as CHSB said. That's what any decent person would do. It's not overkill...it's manners. And I think if Couturier can trade him...he should do it. You're trying to justify what he did with your ridiculous logic and it isn't washing. Bottom line...Bartos hasn't earned the right to play on this team anymore...if he comes back at all. End of discussion.

He doesn't owe me any apology........if he's here to start the season, I'll be more than happy.........I think guys like Perreault will be relieved if he shows up to help him out a bit.....I've been disappointed with the team so far in the exhibition games, so I hope he comes.....

I don't care how much he'd help the team. He'd help them more in a trade to get some good young players or high draft picks to use in December at the trade deadline. The Titan have done fairly well without him (despite the 2-5 PRE-SEASON record). They've barely worked on systems at all in a game situation...they'll be fine this year. Bartos will just be a cancer in the dressing room at this point. He's a terrible example for the young players. Allowing him back with open arms is the exact kind of crap that makes the players think it's ok to pull this kind of stunt.

He's a 19YO kid. I guess some people skipped ages 16 to 24 in their life and went right into middle age.

Yeah, the kid could have done it differently. No, he probably wasn't thinking logically or possibly even maturely.

But he's a KID who just found out what he dreamed of doing for years was yanked out from underneath him. So he needed some sulking time. It's part of growing up and learning how to react to bad situations.

I hope he does come back and I hope he learns from this experience that not everything will go as planned in life. Sometimes life sucks but you have to learn from it and move on.

How do you know he didn't send a personal email apologizing to each and every player over the last few days ? You seem to expect him to apologize on this board or in the newspaper ... maybe on Around the Q ?

I actually will let it go when Perrault is back.......and I see Bartos playing alongside him and having apologized....
How is that?

If he does not come back, it will mean that he gave up on NA to play.
Playing with Perreault is a privilege....not a right.
