I see Emile-Alexandro Lemieux-Goupil is no longer on the Summerside western capitals roster, is he now full time with the islanders. I see he’s still listed in tonight’s game as an AP I imagine he will be with the Isles for the remaining year. He's got size. He's strong. Powerful. 6'1". 175lbs. He will never become a big offensive dman....he'll be a solid #3-#4...but he will be very hard to play against. A very good pick in the 3rd round by Hulton. |

Shields’ injury looked very serious on the video. They take extra precautions with head and neck injuries, so hopefully the precautions were just to follow protocol.

He was hit and his helmet came off and he smacked his head on the ice.  Omg! I hope he's ok! That's always a terrifying injury I hope I'm wrong, but I would expect Shield's will be out for an extended period. Looked like he was KO'd on some of the camera shots. |

The team released positive news on Will Shields from last night's incident. He was assessed at a local hospital and released.

great that Shields appears to have escaped serious injury
back to the promising rookies conversation..... that batch of promising rookies is no better than the batch of promising rookies we apparently have built around this year and look how that is turning out
you need to have high picks in this league to build around..... or to acquire proven star players when it is time
picking as late and as little as we have since the go for it year is why we are in the mess we are in
kudos to our scouts for finding players despite the draft capital they are provided
i don't get excited at all about the ontario free agent pipeline anymore because it's honestly been a long time since we truly hit on anyone of significance from it
