Moncton has a solid lineup , with lots of depth in all positions. I would stand pat until the trade deadline, and see what is available vs needs vs price .
I was talking to a season ticket holder who has been around for a while , he said that Rosseau from the Moosehead's is already a done deal. Steinman and a player/pick were going to Halifax.
will be announced around the last trade period around the new year

Why would Moncton want Rousseau playing a bunch of games for Halifax right now when he could just be playing for Moncton? There were some people who seemed awfully sure that trade was happening at the draft trade period also. I think Steinman is a top 3 goalie in the Q right now and I don't see any point in making that trade. He was fantastic on Friday and Saturday. 1. Mercer 2. Rousseau 3. Steinman 4. Gravel 5. Ruccia A far more likely trade destination for Rousseau would be Rimouski. St Hillaire has not been good.

I agree . That's why I was surprised to hear about the possible trade . I am happy with the Steinman/ Warren combination , since I have been following the wildcats ( 2009 - 2010 ) season , I feel confident in both wildcat goaltenders.
They don't seem strong/patient in drafting/developing goaltenders since Corey Crawford.
Steinman and Warren are not worth the price to try for an upgrade vs getting a great forward/D-man, Imo

Rousseau just showed us why he will be traded at the Christmas deadline tonight against the Huskies , stole a game for the Moose . Shots were 49 - 18 for the Huskies

Teams can only have 3 overagers after the January trade period so they’d have to choose between St-Hilaire and Miller at that point.
