yeah that's likely the approach, but this team needs scoring, if the only deal they do is move one of the top D-men they're still in trouble. Futures would definitely be ideal though. I expect some younger guys to be available. The thing about Perron is that he would enter the D market as either the best or 2nd best non-OA D available. Depending on who is looking (I would assume that Rimouski would be hard after Kingsley), he could fetch something like a young forward, a 1st, plus. yup that's what I was thinking as well value wise.

To be honest, I think you may be overcritizing. The Titan have one of the best D records in the league, but def need some offense. That being said, the kids are doing their share of scoring (outside of the 16 year-olds, but they are 16). They could bring in an import that another team is looking to move (like Bosson if Drummondville upgrades or Simek if Rimouski upgrades) which will help a bit. Beyond that, they could potentially look into a player or two who could use a change of scenery. fair enough, but defensive play can only get you so far, not sure it's sustainable to continue that the rest of the year and into the playoffs, especially after teams load up. yeah an import of 2 is likely coming at some point once dominos fall on Mateiko and such. Could see Sprynar being a possibility out of Halifax as well, but not sure who I'd replace in the lineup for him. But he and Simek don't really add all that much to our offense overall and are very similar to guys we already have is the only thing.

It just amazes me how names like Simek and Sprynar keep coming up simply because they are Euro's. Dwyer would have about 5 mins for Sprynar and he would be sent home.

Adding a euro for the sake of adding a euro is unlikely. Sprynar had a good second half last year but has been so so this year.

couple of mock trades I think could happen (or would like to happen) or I could be very far off lol
To Baie-Comeau: Emile Perron Blake Pilgrim-Edwards 5th rounder 2025 (any as we have 4)
To Bathurst Jabez Seymour Drew Allison 1st round pick 2027 (BAC) 2nd round pick 2025 (BAT)
Reality is BC is still a strong team, Perron would be a huge add to their top 4 of Lavoie, Bernier, and Samson, he can help be that powerplay QB. Pilgrim-Edwards also gives them some much needed depth to their bottom 6.
Seymour hasn't panned out in BC and could be given a bigger role for us, he also fits the cycle. Allison also fits the cycle and Perron is a clear upgrade. Also another maritime born guy for us.
the 2027 1st could be sent back for a future as well.
The way I see it is Perron is worth 2-3 good assets and Pilgrim-Edwards is a bonus add and also becomes BC's 5th highest scoring forward.
To Blainville: Harry Clements
To Bathurst: Zachary Wheeler 2nd round pick 2026 3rd round pick 2026
Blainville is mainly looking at next year but wants to remain competitive this year, Clements becomes that defensive D that can pair with Villeneuve for the remainder of this year and next.
Titan get back Wheeler who hasn't found his step, and fits the Titans cycle, also another maritime player which is a bonus. The picks would help for next year to either flip in other deals or use them. Blainville has a STACKED cupboard for 2026 picks so they wouldn't really be losing much in order to add a top 4 defensive D here.
one other route the Titan could take but idk if I'd want them too is
To Gatineau: Francois-James Buteau Alexandre Lallier Thomas Morin (prospect) 1st round pick 2025 (BAT) 3rd round pick 2025 (SHE)
To Bathurst: Jeremie Minville Jan Golicic
Other than that I don't think we see much else unless we do some generic shuffling or bringing guys in for extra picks and such to tinker the roster. Clements could also make sense to a team like Moncton. Perron could also end up in Rimouski or Shawinigan which could be fits. Pilgrim-Edwards to Drummondville for their bottom 6 as well as they're lacking depth.

Big win tonight against the eagles to keep a good lead in the standings, team really was firing on all cylinders tonight. Need more of that.
Another great game by Fleming, and Perron with another 3 point night, he got that monkey off his shoulder recently and if he keeps it up his value could go higher. He’s looking like himself again.
Goguen/Marmulak/Belanger are getting better game after game and I’m excited to see what they can do at 19

If Chicoutimi decides to upgrade on Korneyev (likely ends up with 4th line time if they add more bodies as well up front) I wouldn't be apposed of the Titan picking him up. 6 points in 25 games as a 17 YO is nothing special but he could fit the cycle and if he develops well could be a solid player next year and the year after.
