I just got back and the rookies look very solid. A lot more size. There are many first round choices at higher drafts that stand out. Dimitruk - very Q like and very good. Will easily make team. Zack Sills - As reported Devon MacAusland - reported and solid Matt Brown - very very solid. Remy Lamoureaux - I'd be surprised if we don't have a place for this guy. Very big and agile. Martin Baca - The size of Marquardt and mean. Great pick. Nick Croft- Hmmm. Looked pretty good to me. Bobby Little - Big guy! Others too numerous to mention. Only one or two max looked out of place. Wildcats obviously have the best scouts in the CHL. It's pretty easy to look like a good scout when you draft a guy that's rated 5th overall with the 35th pick ....same for Dimitruk,I think it's more the idea of having a quality franchise with bigtime $$$$$ than actually having good scouts.

Is there a ban on fighting in the Wildcat camp this season?

Well at least you nailed the "quality franchise" part.

I am not sure about the ban. At the start of the game it was all pretty tame but something happened in the 3rd and Herr was going absolutely ape s*** at Lewis (I think). But nothing came out of it. He definately looked like he wanted to go.

Is there a ban on fighting in the Wildcat camp this season? I know the last 2 year there was no fighting so.........I remember back at the Carroll arena when Billy Riley coached the intersquad games were the best to watch. ....one time he wanted to see what Weston Fader could do with the fists so he sent him out to fight Jeff LeBlanc,it was actully a real good tilt.

I saw the spear and then he called him a few choice names that I heard standing on the mezanine. I think the "niceties" are gone now. You might see some more fireworks tonight. I can't wait!!

Is there a ban on fighting in the Wildcat camp this season? Yup, you'll have to wait for exhibition games.

So I checked out the scrimmage tonight & here is my thoughts.
For the white team .. - Tyler Bolduc - I think he played the best out of the goalies. I think would like to see this kid as the backup. I liked him.
- Matt Boyle - He was scratched .. hurt again ?!
- Marcus Watson - I think he's really improved. Mind you we did not see him much of him last year.. I think he played good & had some good shifts.
- Devon MacAusland - Small guy. Wow, he's really small. Had a really fluky goal in the shootout. He didn't really stand out to me.
For the red team .. - Brett Frazee - This guy stood out to me all game. More so in the first half. Every time I checked to see what player it was, it was him.
- Simon Jodoin - Just out of curiosity, is he related to Clem Jodoin?
One thing for sure is our rookies have some size .. although we do have some short players .. but there were a lot of bigger guys. I'd like to see our team be a little bigger this year.

Is Bradley Smith at camp? How did he look? Yes, Smith is at camp. From the game I seen tonight, he had a few flashes, but he won't make the team, I don't think anyways. But then again, I'm not the one that gets paid the big $$$ to make the roster.

No. The person you are referring to on SJ's protected list is Robbie Little. The player at Moncton camp is Bobby Little.
