I noticed on the Cats rookie camp roster that Marcou and Chipman are not there, did they change their mind about coming? As far as Melanson and Whelan, I doubt they would have made the team anyway so no big loss but, I think Marcou had a real good shot at making the team.

I think Whelan may have made it as a #7 d-man and guy that occasionally drops the gloves.
Melanson was a long long shot.
Chipman was a longshot.
Marcou has a Harvard scholraship apprently, I assume he decided not to come.

Well, if he has a harvard scholarship that would be hard to turn down, too bad for us though I think he could have been fun to watch but, we have quite a few prospects anyway that should be on the team for the next 3-4 years. I also heard that the team is looking at bringing in another FA who is supposed to be a bonafide goal scorer, we'll see what happens. Thanks for the info on Marcou.

According to Chris Heisenberg's NCAA recruit page, Marcou is going to UMass.
