He was picked up and went home with the billet family every day, outside of Monday and Tuesday night where he went to dinner with his family. Other families we were with, as well as the billets could also corroborate this.

Tuesday afternoon, he was told he was cut following Game 4 (reason being "lack of foot-speed and explosiveness"). Went to Hynes Restaurant, had dinner, took the 11am flight out of Moncton.

Honestly, reading this garbage about police problems on this forum is just absurd.

No idea. Absolutely shocked he would be cut after 2 good games that day and not allowed to finish the camp like everyone else. At first I thought it was because I heard Sniderman was going to be there Wednesday, but with that rumor debunked it's just a puzzle now...these "police rumors" are turning this into even more of a joke IMO.

Believe me, I'm much more confused than you are right now!

In fairness to the boy the team should make a statement rather than let speculation fly around. That is the bad thing about these forums, the truth may stay hidden while everyone speculates the worst. When the team announces cuts his name should appear. The game summaries make it seem as though he was never here.

A note about the discussions on why Babiak was cut - tread carefully when posting 2nd or 3rd hand information, it is being insinuated that an altercation took place - nobody has proof of this and further speculation in this manner is strongly discouraged. It is slanderous in nature.

No big surprises there, the only name I thought would be there that isn't is Nick Croft. Even though I didn't see much of the rookie camp, he seemed decent from what i saw and I might be mistaken but I thoguht he was one of the last cuts if not the last cut on defence last year. Either way it doesn't matter cause he wouldn't have made the team.
It seems there were only 8 or 9 cuts, the main camp might be a bit overcrowded at first. I'd like to see them have a three team tournament like they have in the past.
