Hilarious how this writer talks repeatedly about Marchand's "modesty" and how he "finally displayed some confidence" near the end of the article........ this guy apparently doesn't know the real Brad Marchand!
Of course I by and large like Marchand's cockniess......... you need at least some superstars in the league to have a bit of flair, a bit of an edge. It wouldn't be very interesting if everyone was 100% diplomatic and gracious. I'm actually a bit disappointed in Brad for being so gentlemanly in this interview!

Good luck Brad and hopfully you can get that contract signed have a great NHL camp and then come back to the Q and tear it up. Also good luck in the Canada- Russia series.

Um, I wasn't talking to Brad in my post ... I was referencing that we shouldn't be eager to have him make the NHL. If he is in the Q at 20 we get a 1st rd pick.

Problem is he's only 19 this season and possibly one of the top 5 players in the Q. Don't see him playing as a 20.
