Currently we are losing 2-1. We're outshooting Bathurst 18 - 4 with 8 DS to none. Oh yah, we're also 0-49 on the PP. 0-50 now. I think it's time to change things up..

3-2 Baca scored and Matt Brown scored. Nice to see the young guys taking charge tonight, well at least from what I see they are. We're outshooting Bathurst pretty bad.

Cats win 7-3. I'm not as excited to see the Cats win as I am excited to see the two Euro's each get a goal. Makes me feel a lot more comfortable then last year! Jason Lepage getting 2 goals tonight, that kinda scares me however. Don't know if we should keep him but we'll see. I'll have a lot more to say once I see them play an exhibition game.

Good to see Cats had a very good game eventhough Titan dressed a very young lineup... Good to see both euro's play well... Nice to see Lepage have a good game, I think he's on the bubble, but we'll have to wait n see.... Hopefully Dimitruk will like what he saw n wanna stay!!!!!!!

The difference in the game tonight was the extra week and inter-squad games that the Cats have been playing last week. Brenton was about the best and Little played little as in afraid to take a check. For some reason the Titan have decided to have no inter-squad games this year opting instead for on-ice testing and off-ice training. Go figure!

I'm not too worried about that. We have to accept that some returning players won't be back, even though they could contribute. The depth at forward will easily make us forget about them once the season begins. They might even come back with another team and score a few against us but that's hockey. We have a better team this year than last year with or without Lepage,Watson, Brenton etc. so it should still be worth it.

I ment it scares me in the sense that I don't really want him to impress the coaches unless he's going to really be a force this year.

Copied and pasted from the Titan board........
I know this was our first game and everything and 90% of these guys who played tonight will be cut, but these are the few I'd keep around for another look from both teams......I haven't seen any of the practices as I just got back in town last night, so this game is all I have to go on......
Bathurst:
14 Mathieu Jean-Boulianne 15 Lucas Labelle 16 Vincent Couture 44 Daniel Basque 5 Remi Blanchard 35 Nicholas Champion...reminds me of a young Russo.....small and very fast.
Moncton:
30 Tyler Bolduc...... 10 Pierre-Marc Lessard 14 Bobby Little 15 Jason Lepage 18 Matt Boyle 19 Brad Smith 20 Marc-Andre Labelle 22 Murdock MacLellan 26 Matt Brenton 28 Matt Brown
All others from both sides will most likely be cut by tomorrow morning. The difference between the teams tonight was the Moncton had a few systems in place while Bathurst was just running around with most playing individual hockey.......looked like guys who have been in a few practices and games against guys haven't......lol............I have about 2 guys from Bathurst's lineup that might make the team......

He didn't list Riopel either so are we cutting him too? According to Q site Bolduc played all game? WTF...or did you mean to put Riopel will stay and Bolduc is cut?

He played with Lessard and Labelle mostly, then with Brenton and MacLellan on the powerplays 2nd unit...on his 2nd goal he stole the puck from "project" 6'6" player who can't skate or play hockey.....the guys I listed are the ones that stood out......
