I find it interesting that PEI made this move given that they have 9 Q capable defensemen. Lessard Gervais Swit Southorn Clow Malouin Deighan Main Owens What's the story on Little. What is he like and how is his skating for a 6'5 player?

What is he like and how is his skating for a 6'5 player? Main did not play much defense last year, he's more of a crash and bang winger. The only thing I can see is they want to add some size to the skilled young d-men you have.

I have no problem with the cats pulling off a few of these today. Gives us an extra roll of the of the dice on Americans at the draft.

I agree fully. If we can get something for a guy that really wasn't in the plans then go for it. It should be interesting to see who they offer the offer sheets to though.

10 minutes left in the trading period... are the wildcats going to make another move???
I see Picard-Hopper has not moved yet (I don't think we will get him, but I wonder if he is going to be traded or not).

I know, however I understood that he had told the organization that if he wasn't traded by the deadline, he was going to playing for Mcgill this year.

For those interested after getting into 1 exhabition game the PEI Rocket announced that they cut Little today.
Still never understood why they made that deal which not surprisingly ended up being a waste of an 8th round pick, which is good from Moncton's point of view.

It could be worst, Bathurst traded the 8th round(Frazee) and 1st Euro(Bezak) picks for Martikanen
