The T & T mentioned that Jhase Sniderman was released, there must have been some team that would have traded for him? He could be a #1 for a few teams even if he would take up a 20 yr. old spot.

Name all the teams that have room for a 20 yr goaltender that is just average. Sniderman is a good goaltender ... but any contender needs better than Sniderman can give them .... and any non-contenders shouldn't be wasting their time with 20 YO goaltenders unless they zero other options ... and then they should not be trading to get one. CB and SJ might go with a 20 YO goaltender (Davenport and Fullerton) but they don't have to trade to get them. Sniderman is almost untradable ... especially when he wasn't even our #1 in last years playoffs. |

I would think that Fullerton in SJ isn't any better than Sniderman. I think Sniderman is better than Fullerton, IMO. Fullerton is just a so so goalie and it looks like he is going to stick with Saint John.

The Sea Dogs are also not contending and any assets in general they give up will probably go towards more impact players in the 18/19 range who could theoretically help them round out their roster this year and bolster it next. If Jacques Beaulieu trades for Jhase Sniderman he has as much hockey savvy as a Mongolian sheephearder. |

My bad. I misread something that was said. What I meant was that there is a team in the league that has just an average 20 yo goalie. I didn't mean that SJ should trade for Sniderman. That would be jusr dumb..  |

In my Opinion Sniderman is better then Fullerton, thought would be an improvement, they have a young team and sniderman has alot of experience, last yr helping Riopel & also beeing here Mem Cup yr, might be helpful for younger guys!

Michael Dupont is a big disappointment in BC and MacFarlane is not exactly better than Sniderman....
Other than that, there is Drummondville with Gougeon and the Huskies with Blouin....
One of them could well be a trading partner.

Their starter is 18, why trade for another 20 year old to split time when you already have one. I think Fullerton gets cut or traded once Mayer proves he is the real deal and has his feet wet...plus he is playing in the WJHC. |
