Does anyone know when the season tickets can be picked up? I haven't heard anything and I checked the Cats homepage. The opener is this Sunday and I'd kinda like to go.

I spoke to the office Monday and she told me they ran out of Flex packs and will get more at the end of the week. People picking up Flex packs should call ahead...

Student individual tickets are now 12$. I seen an ad in the paper today for the game Sunday. It said.. Tickets starting at 11$. 11$ for a children's ticket is a bit steap IMO.

I guess I never noticed the student and children prices. Your right it is steap. I see that affecting family attendance and if they get any ideas about raising adult prices in the next two years it might kill the club.

You can get a child ticket for $5 or less in almost every building in Québec, meanwhile in Moncton it's more than double that. Insane.

The online hasn't been updated yet it still has
Adult $14.50 Child $10.00 Senior $12.50 Student $11.00
I would say that is the straw that will break this camel's back. I'll probably not waste my money watching us play against a team that we will always beat and maybe a team that we will always lose to.

I don't think it will make much of a difference in attendance. Look at what people are willing to spend on beer and concessions....
Besides, we in Moncton aren't terribly price-sensitive...look at coffee prices, they keep going up, we keep buying it. :-)

There are no teams that fall under either of those categories in the Q ... this year or last year. We could beat anybody on any given night last year ... and lose to SJ just as easily.

Besides, we in Moncton aren't terribly price-sensitive...look at coffee prices, they keep going up, we keep buying it. :-) I disagree. People regularly go downtown and spend $4.50 on a beer but no one thinks that $4 for popcorn is anything other than a corn. They would buy better than twice as much popcorn if they halved the price. The cost of popcorn is insignificant. I never will get a $4 popcorn, except at the movie, and I will think next year about getting season tickets if a I figure out it will cost me less to buy the tickets at the first of the year for only the games that I want to see. I expect CB will be seriously rebuilding next year so theres 6 or 8 times $15.50 saved. Infact if we suck I can save the whole thing. Get a Curling membership, drink a whole bunch of beer and jump back on the bandwagon 2 of every four years. Consumers will start to speak eventually.
