Arsenault was brutal, not as brutal as that show I saw him put on last Friday in Bathurst but close. I think I'll have to stop leaving Moncton to watch hockey, I've seen two games outside the Coliseum and he did both and ruined both. Cats power play = Brutal so even he if evens it out by making bad calls it doesn't technically even out cause we can't score on the PP. Fullerton played pretty good for a drunk, you could see the buzz when he came out of his net but when he stayed in his net he looked almost sober. I think if the Cats want to really compete they have to work on there offensive zone entrance and Power play. Getting beat by a drunk goalie..thats sad

OK first of all why can't we get excited about the Sill win? Sill is just as much of a fighter as Leduc is so I'm not sure what the big deal is. I had a real good view of the fight and Sill landed 2 bombs that gave him a clear win. As for the other fights well Herr is an embarrassment, no idea why he decided to fight Gallant and I admire Boyle's intentions for fighting Thomas who layed the hit on Bezak in the pre-season but he clearly lost that fight.
Right from the start the Cats mission seemed to be to sit back and try to capitalize on Saint John mistakes. It worked in the first period but not so much in the 2nd and 3rd. We really seemed to be running out of gas in the 2nd and 3rd periods, but especially in the 3rd. I hoped the HUGE penalty kill near the end of the 2nd period would provide a boost but it didn't work out that way since we had a PP at the start of the 3rd which was of course anemic.
I'm not trying to take anything away from the Sea Dogs as they played a pretty good game but that was FAR from our best performance tonight. Quite frankly we can take these guys playing on a normal schedule. I look forward to the next meeting on Nov.7th...the real rivalry between these two teams has finally began!

There have been very few sustained attacks against the Dogs in just about every period so far this season. Teams will be finding it very hard to score on this team once they stop with the silly turnovers and/or the goalies tighten up more. I agree the ref was awful, but it went both ways.

Wildcats fans, sorry but your team is a regular team, nothing special about you guys. You guys have one big line and that's it. Morehouse is a loose canon, and it looked good on him for taking a stupid penalty in the final minute of the game. You might have an edge in goaltending, but our defence and forwards are just as good as yours or if not better. Face it Wildcats fans, the Sea Dogs ain't an easy two points anymore, and there will be a lot more Sea Dogs wins against you guys. Congratulations to your precious Sea Dogs on finally not being a gimme two points anymore. In the time it took for this event to happen, you guys only picked first overall in the Q draft three times.

Who cares if we picked 1st in the draft 3 times. The fans are happy that we are putting a winning product on the ice. All that matters is we are winning for once.

wow wow wow wow I never used Arsenault as an excuse. My excuse for losing is the zone break-in and lack off PP. I just said it would have been a better game if it wasn't Arsenault. He didn't call a thing in the first and it was a great period, not just saying that because of the score after 1. Then he tried to make up calls to say he called stuff, he did the same thing last week in Bathurst but that wasn't why the Titan won. If we would have scored on even one of the power plays, imo, we would have won. You guys got 2, that's the difference right there. The ref gave you guys the power plays but he didn't put the puck in the net.

They were an expansion team for god's sake you think the 3 picks alone make a big difference don't forget the Dogs and Fog Devils had to build their teams from a bunch of outcasts too champ!

Wow, tough game..Wc's should be beating these teams...I understand it's the second game in 2 nights, but Moncton is clearly the better team here with the better goalies. tough loss, I didnt' expect that. Probably going to have to start gettin' used to it...these Dogs are for real!! That's what you guys said last year and the year before that . I wounder what will be your excuses this year?
