How many games has Lavigne been starter this year? and how come he never gets to play... Because we aren't developing him for next year ... but he does need to get a few more starts so he is ready for this year when we need him. He might start tonight ... but its tough not to go with the hot hand. Its a long season and we've only just started. However ... if by March Lavigne has only started a handful of games .. say 5 ... and Riopel is at 60 + ... thats because Riopel has handled the load well and given good goaltending ... and thats all good ... for this year and next year. Lavigne is just a filler for the year ... next year I expect we'll have a new 16/17 yr old kid to backup. You backup still needs to play at least 1/4 of the games...1-to make sure your starter is not running on fumes by the playoffs and 2-in case the starter gets hurt, your back up is not rusty and out of sync. |

BINGO !!...exactly my point.. It's not a very smart move on your head coaches part not to use Lavigne. So far, Riopel has played every game except 1. It will catch up to him sooner or later. |

You said you could list tons of "other possible meanings" of the term "buttboy". Please do so ... 100 will sufficient ... a ton is not necessary. And please include the actual meaning you were trying to put forward. I'm sure you'll whimp out somehow ... but regardless ... its now a matter for the moderators to handle. No problem. I'll send them via private message because we've spammed this thread enough. Not sure who you translate an answer into a weight to get your 100 is suffiicient. I'll list a significant number of alternative examples of the use of the term to prove my point and be done with this. I thought a "Butt-Boy" was something smokers used to put out their Cigarettes  |

I'm not posting all the possibilities of the meaning of the word "buttboy", steveul. I did send you a few possibilities. Yes it could mean what you said it meant. It could also mean how I meant it's use in my post, which is all the mods should give a damn about. It is a meanlingless (or not meaningless but...slang?) word. If someone I know does something stupid or crazy or whatever, I might call them a "retard". I'm not actually stating a personal belief they are mentally handicapped in any way.
