3-1 now. Glad I'm sick at home and not at the game.

Wildcats lose to a weak Quebec 4-2 in their own rink.....Priceless They may be a weak team, but they played us pretty well. Esposito and Tessier killed us. But our guys are dead tired. You could definitely tell. Riopel although letting in 4, I thought still played good. The first goal, he should've had though. But on the 28, 29, 30 shots.. he made three great saves.. bangbangbang. Ahh well, they'll get some time off now, not much though, before taking off to Lewiston for a game on Sunday.

He cut the pass and that caught Rio going for the pass, leaving the puck free in the crease. One that had a rough game was Barberio, but one bad game every ten can be expected for a 17 YO. For the first time, I can say I was impressed by Esposito. That guy can skate. That penalty by Eastman in the 3rd really killed the Cats. At the time, they were taking it to the Remparts, pounding them in the boards. But that penalty, followed by the Pianosi penalty and Espo goal. Killed any chance of comeback.

The Cats looked very flat, not sure if it was the 6 games in 9 days, but they didn't use their speed against the young Quebec d-men like the the early home games.
Esposito's line had a ton of chances, if not for Rio it could have been 7 or 8 to 2. Whoever was picking the stars must have been drunk, Brannon didn't even play a regular shift and they gave him 3rd star, MacLellan played half the shifts on the 3rd line.

I didn't think Brannon was a good choice either, although he had a goal. I would've given a star to Marquardt maybe or Sill. Hell even Riopel maybe.

Riopel should have been 3rd star, if you had to pick a Cat.
Disappointing game, although it was a treat to watch Esposito.

Lemmy guess....you think they should have given one to Riopel right?

Riopel should have been 3rd star, if you had to pick a Cat. Disappointing game, although it was a treat to watch Esposito. Esposito had a few chance Vs Titan on Tue. but not really a big presence compared to tonights game. IMO Riopel played ok, but still 4 goals is a big hill to climb for any team. After all the trash talk for losing to you guy's last week, it feel good to see you lose to a weaker team. Even if it's Pat Roys team I'm done

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the great play of Desfosses tonight. I found he was very solid and really kept the Remparts in it even when the Wildcats seemed to really be controlling the play.

The first place team getting beat at home by a 15th place team. Lovely.
