Will this be the game that the Wildcats break out of their slump? Time will tell..
The Cats are looking to put an end to their five game losing streak as they travel to Cape Breton to take on the Screaming Eagles. This will be the first game of a three-in-three weekend for Moncton. The Cats are coming off a 4-1 loss at home on Sunday to the very same Eagles. The Eagles are coming off a 5-2 win at home on Wednesday night against the Gatineau Olympiques. The Eagles are on a two game winning streak.
Riopel in nets. I think the Eagles will take this one, but I hope I am wrong, 3-2.

The wildcats finally explode!!!!
6- 4 win.
Marquardt with 2, Bezak, Eagles, Eastman and MacAusland with his first. Mangan gets 3 points.
3 goals on the power play!!!
I'm asking for a lot aren't I?

4-2 Cape Breton.
I have a bad feeling about this weekend. 0 for 3 is a possibility, maybe 1 for 3 if we can beat Rimouski on Saturday.

Gatineau is also on a 3 in 3 weekend ... playing Halifax, SJ and then us on Sunday ... but they also played last night so we will get them on their 4th game in 5 days. So our fatigue will likely not be a factor on Sunday.

4-2 Cape Breton unfortunately
If we go 3 for 3 Christmas comes early. If we go 2 for 3 something good is starting to happen. If we go 1 for 3 the coaches or players are not living up. If we go 0 for 3 the coaches and players are not living up.
I guess I better add that 1 for 3 is expected but all games close and low scoring. Any blowouts are a bad sign.

Something's bound to happen sometime (hopefully tomorrow night).
CB is due for being blown out at least one game with a 16 YO goalie.
Moncton is due to come out of that offensive slump.
Hopefully both happen tomorrow. 6-1 Cats.
If not, Rimouski will be the victim.

That 16 yo goalie doesn't play like a 16 yo IMHO, but yes I have to agree with Rimouski being the victim...they are a hurting bunch with a pile of their starters sitting in the "infirmary". The Cats should really give it to them on Saturday night....4-1 Eagles...6-1 Cats in the other one.

I say 4-1 Eagles same as last game with an empty net goal this time. Both goalies get stars.
