At the games for the rest of the year they should allow the fans to bring their skates and play old british march music while we all skate. I could use the exercise.

People should actually stop bitching so much. We knew a few years ago that we were going to pay the price when we went for the memorial cup. We had to go for it. But now we are paying for it. But it will get better (can't get worse). We have some good young players that will still be around for a while. But this year will definitely not be our year. Next year and the following will be a lot better. It has nothing to do with the Memorial Cup, last year's team had below average skill but put forth a strong effort 90% of the time, no excuse for this year's team(older and more overall skill) only showing up 20% of the games. |

not more overall skill would you trade any 2 of our d for one andrew madonald (package up three of our d and a 2nd pick and i still wouldn't trade andrew dor that) hell no ... no d=mp wins rebuilding get the young d playing and take it on the chin this year

You guys have only 3 rookies back there and they are all 18. Eagles have 5(even excluding Mariani who also plays forward) and 4 of them are 17 and under. Your only 17 is Barberio and I don't think he's the problem.  |

not more overall skill would you trade any 2 of our d for one andrew madonald (package up three of our d and a 2nd pick and i still wouldn't trade andrew dor that) hell no ... no d=mp wins rebuilding get the young d playing and take it on the chin this year The D is not the problem, it was known before the start of the year that defense would not be as strong, the strong play of the goalies has offset the loss of MacDonald and Welton, it's the forwards that are not winning races for loose pucks and cycling in the offensive zone like last year. They returned everybody up front except for Gaudet and Lincourt a year older, they added Brannon Sill Bezak plus the 3 kids yet the forwards are playing well below where they were last year...is it system or guys just not putting in the effort? |
