Cats are playing the middle game of a three-in-three weekend. The Wildcats are coming off a 6-2 loss in Cape Breton last night and are currently on a 6 game losing streak. Rimouski is coming off a 5-2 loss on PEI last night. Rimouski is going through tough times as well, as they have quite a few players out of the lineup with injuries. I think we'll see Lavigne in nets. I think the Cats will finally get a win. I think 3-1. Would like to see them score more goals than that though, but right now.. a win would be good enough for me..

Cats should win but will they? Rimouski has a ton of injuries I'll say Lavigne will get the start, 3-2 Cats

Riopel gets the start and cats win 3-2 to stay out of the league basement.

Good game by Cats tonight. I thought we played well for almost the whole game. I think the Morehouse line was unstoppable tonight. Everytime they were on the ice they made things happen and I don't just mean offense. I thought Lavigne was good when he needed to be, but he's god awful handling the puck. I thought our defense moved the puck really well tonight, they pinched a lot tonight too, which I liked. It was a great night to be at the rink. I thought there was a big chance we could go 0-3 this weekend, but now we could get 4 points.. and that would be great. Here's to looking forward to another win tomorrow afternoon.

They plyed a pretty goof first but a bad 2nd and passable 3rd. They would have lost against a good team, they need a more consistant effort from shift to shift. The 3rd goal was a gift from Dupont. Marquardt played one of his better games.

I thought they played an ok game, better then lately for sure, they'll have to play better for a win Tommorrow. I thought Barberio played one of his best this yr. Morehouse had a good game, Shockingly Gomes had a good game as well... When Marquardt scored, Cats chance of winning is a lot higher!

Glad to see some effort there for a change. They played alot better than the past few games, but still lots of room for improvement. And as Billy said, if it weren't against the worst team in the league missing 7 starting players, the outcome likely would have been different. In any case, take what you can get. We won the game, outshot our opponent, and got a PP goal. Hopefully they can build off of this.
Lavigne really needs to work on his puckhandling abilities. But I suppose he hasn't had alot of opportunity to work on this in an actual game.

He handles it pretty well but he was a little too relaxed on a couple of occasions, waited too long to move it and nearly got caught.

On the bright side, he did pick up an assist which ties him for 15th in team scoring, and only 4 points out of 6th spot.
