The Cats were lucky to get a point out of that game considering the Titan should have put it away in the first period. But the Titan got an awfully lucky goal to tie up the game so I guess it all evened out.
- This is the 11th time this season we've scores 2 goals in a game and not shockingly our record is 1-9-1 when we do that. Six of those games were 1 goal losses and another was one goal before a late empty netter. Just a couple extra goals here and there and we have a much better record. Unfortunately we just don't have enough skill to make that happen.
- If the league kept stats on delay of game penalties I'm pretty sure Mark Barberio would be the leader. But I'm not pointing any fingers at him because I think that is one of the dumbest rules ever put into the game, it's clearly not intentional 90% of the time.
- The first Titan goal was because of a really stupid penalty taken by Lessard in the offensive zone. Then he took another one in the 3rd period and I don't think he was on the ice again after that as Flynn moved Bezak back up to the 2nd line.
- Riopel was great and was pretty much the sole reason we were even in the game after the 1st period. He should get the start again tomorrow based on that performance.
- Baca played pretty well tonight, still a few mistakes but overall he wasn't too bad at all. Let me be the first to say that Gomes wasn't bad either tonight, threw a nice hit in the 3rd period and kept the mistakes to a minimum. Pianosi is looking better every game and is playing a much safer game than earlier in the season. Eastman had a bit of an off game and Boyle made a couple horrid errors. Who left Perreault all alone in front of the net in OT?
- Matt Brown is really improving and I like what I'm seeing. They also started using him on the PK in Lewiston and again tonight. Good to see Flynn showing confidence and justly rewarding him with some PK duty and increased ice time. One of these days Bezak and MacAuslund are going to score...
- Deserved victory for the Titan in a game that really shouldn't have been as close as it was. Big game for the Cats tomorrow with PEI in town. Picking up 3 of 4 points this weekend before the road trip to Shawi, Gatineau, and Victo wouldn't be too shabby at all. But lose tomorrow and I think we'll find ourselves in the basement of the division sooner than later.

Riopel and Brown were the only two cats that had a really good game. Marquardt tried to throw one hit and then went back to sleep for the rest of the game. I do not know why Flynn had Marquardt out during the overtime. He was not skating fast enough for 4 on 4 and keeps getting caught down ice while odd man rushes go the other way. Still it was an entertaining game to the end considering the cats should have been out of it in the first.

What was wrong with Boyle last night? That's the worse I've seen a defensemen play in a long time. Just an off night but I'm wondering if he was sick or injured or something because boy he was terrible!
