They are crying that people aren't going to the games then they go up the ticket prices.....SMART marketing move.

According to the "experts", we will be an even better team next year and be potential memorial cup contenders especially since the Q is hosting it. If you can afford season tickets this year, you can afford them in 08-09.

I wasn't talking about myself but the other cheap bastards in the city. The ones that are already complaining about the prices.

I have the ticket prices for 08/09 right here Season Tickets - Upper bowl Adult - $423 Youth - $300 Sutdent/Senior - $388 Season Tickets - Horseshoe/Lower Bowl Adult - $493 Youth - $370 Senior/Student - $458 Those prices for 2008/2009 are taxes in. The prices from 2007/2008 on the website didn't have the taxes included. The Season Ticket holder prices will go up by .57 a ticket. The walkup prices haven't been determined yet.

If they are going to keep on buying high price players, competing for Euro's etc and putting a good product on the ice I will pay. $12 a night would not even cover a movie. I'll give my money to the local team instead of making someone who does not even live in Canada rich.

Lets face it fuel and power prices are going up and that is passed on to the ticket buyers, you can only bite the bullet so long on these things. Price increases seem reasonable. If you look around restaurants, fast food places, grocery stores and department stores have higher prices due to these costs have gone up already around the City. We all have to deal with these issues and for some it may not be cheap bastards just some shuffling of finances to meet the extra costs I know I will have to cut back on entertainment, games and what not to make up the difference.
