Good game by Fully. against a team that beat our D to position and were left alone in the slot far too many times. No he is weak. He needs to make those saves, a good goaltender will. WTF ......like the great "POP" does? He cawled out from under the bus and got a rare two wins in a row so now you are telling us about what a good goaltender will do.......gimme a flippin break Joe.....the fishin is better in TITan land, see ya .

Well in front of a house full the boys played decent. There were a lot of scouts floating around as well. I thought Grant looked rather ordinary if not below standard last night. It was a true test and he did not equal the task. He was beaten a few times, coughed up the puck and won few battles in behind the net or in corners. He might shine against PEI and Moncton but last night against some fast and tough forwards he did not answer the bell.
I really liked Despres and Sauve at the back last night. Howes and Picard stole the show up front. Looks like another big crowd on Sunday and the Titan are playing very well as of late so let's see what happens.

Well we finally agree on something RedDogBlueDog. Grant did not play well at all out there, IMO. Especially when we got down 4-3 there was a stretch in there where he played terribly. To me it seemed like he was trying to hard to make something good happen.
The main difference I noticed between our team and the Huskies was their level of passing and decision making compared to ours. They rarely showed hesitation out there. Their passes usually came hard and fast and along the ice, right on the stick. In comparison a lot of our passes come after a brief hesitation. Not as crisp. Often through the air.
Makes a world of difference.

I'm just saying what everyone else says to us when we say the same thing... the boxscore doesnt always indicate how a goaltender played, when their are countless great chances.

I think a huge turning point in the game was the Huskies 2nd goal. Fullertons clearing attempt/pass around the boards was going directly to Charland I believe, but the idiot ref was in the line of fire, off his skate, right on the tape to the Huskies player which created a 2-1 down low. Without that, we would have cleared the zone easily and who knows what would have happened after that. I thought we hung in there very well, RN does have a scary team, some of those boys can fly. I seen this on TV. The ref turned so it didn't hurt, but made no real attempt to get out of the way. There were a couple times at the game that a ref was in the way when the Dogs where trying to setup a play. I'm not saying it was on purpose, but they sure didn't try as hard to get out of the way as they usualy do.

This is one of the bigger issues with having 2 refs cuz ya throw in the 2 linesman and it seems to happen quite often that one of the 4 guys is in the way of a clearing attempt it's even worse in a place like Drummondville where they have almost squared off boards in the corners.
