Everybody already knew who your favorite was funny how those games were the coaches fault now lol always got an excuse ready. Personally looks to me like your team might be playing Lewy first I'm not as confident as you are. Their goaltending and defense is miles ahead of your and they can score too maybe not as much depth up front but defense & goaltending is a must in the playoffs. We played Lewiston IN THEIR BARN this weekend....did you forget that? The Titan allowed them 3 goals in 2 games and scored 10..... Where was that defense and goaltending "miles ahead" this weekend? The Titan only allowed 8 shots to the Sea Dogs in the last 2 periods tonight against a tired squad. I really think people here will have to realize sooner or later that the Titan are much imporved defensively and that Champion and Tardif are solid in goals. Your hilarious you think cuz ya win games in the regular season your automatically going to beat Lewy. I hope your team feels the same way cuz that's when they will lose. Bernier is a big game goaltender their D is gonna clamp down most people have them as the team to really watch outside of Halifax, BC, and RN and maybe the Dogs they are going to be tough in a playoff series. |

What makes it a lot worst for you guys is the fact that not only did you lose the game but yyou got dominated by a tired team. Your team should know a thing or 2 about being dominated of course that's the coaches fault of course how could I forget it has nothing to do with the players!  |

If regulare season didn't count they wouldn't keep track of points. I team doesn't simply become a different team in the playoffs. Sure there going to try a lot harder but you forget that the other team is also going to be trying harder. Right now I have no dout that if we were to face Lewy in the playoffs that we could come out with the win in less then seven games.

I didn't say it didn't count it's rather obvious the games count lol  Personally I think Lewy would take the Titan out just because they won games in the regular doesn't mean Lewy with a guy like Bernier in nets and their very good defense couldn't knock off any team in this league. I hope your team takes them as lightly as some of the titan fans cuz their post season could come to an abrupt halt! ;D |

How did this thread become the Titan/Lewie thread? I as a Dog have to agree with the Titan fans. There should have been no way for the Dogs to lose this game.. But Like I said at the start of the day. IF the boys get cockey they were going to loose. Most teams know to let the Dogs get a few goals in the first, and they stop playing after that. Every top team that has won over us had done that.
The boys have to learn that there are 3 periods in hockey for a total of 60 mins.

If they can't kill penalties they are not gonna go far in the playoffs. As for the Lewy part it was simply a discussion not worthy of starting a new thread on the Dogs board I don't see why it matters not as if we are going on and on about Lewy & the tits for several pages who cares. |

We have seen the Dogs drop in intensity now for the last 12 games at least. Grant has no answer for forwards who play with pace and as someone said he looks like he is skating in mud. Like Friday night he was not winning anything in behind the net or corners, he gave the puck away and they were going around him like he was a pylon. I did watch the lines last night and the Titan did not play their top line to the point of exhaustion. He mixed things up quit nice and they just beat us all over the ice. Dido benched in the third except for power play and the he skated around like a baby. Stich never even saw the ice in the third and Grant should have been on the bench himself. JB has a lot of work to do as we head into the playoffs. The last two months of every season separate the men from the boys and right now we are playing like boys. If we don't go after a goalie for next year our go for it year is not going to happen. Mayer has had some great games but consistency has been a huge problem. All I can say is, if the Titan were tired we were exhausted because the killed us. Great job by the Titan they are playing their best hockey down the stretch. I love the Dogs but we are not the team we were in December or early January. Maybe it is time ot mix things up and put the players on the ice that want to try.
