OK, Latal...since you've given the people reading this thread all a great laugh with your comments, I'll be greedy and see if you'll entertain us a little more. If PEI makes the playoffs (which is a big IF), who do you see them beating in round 1, and how come you think that'll happen? (This oughta be good) As an aside, I just want to mention how unfortunate it was that we in Lewiston inherited the Sherbrooke franchise and not the Montreal one. I feel like we've missed out on so much in the past 5 years!

who we beat??? who said anything about that fairy tale??? we wont even make it to game 3 if we win a game its only because of a lucky bounce in OT but that was a good joke from you asking who we will beat in round 1

Many times, they're not paying attention to the rink announcer and don't know what, if anything, is going on in the rink (and that's if they speak the native language well--the Huskies guys may not have in PEI). And even if they do, dead air sounds really bad over the airwaves. unless the broadcasters announce that there is going to be a moment of silence, it's just dead air. It's not meant to be disrespectful, just that they're doing their job. It's never happened to me, since TV here is not live until after anthems, etc. But I see the same thing in the Lewy box--guys talking during anthems, etc. It happens, and it's not being done to be a douche about it...sometimes, they don't have a lot of choice.

WTG Chillywack! You can really attract the Trolls! www.theguardian.pe.ca/index.cfm?sid=100175&sc=110Trolling through the sludge on the message boards FROM THE STANDS - BY WADE BABINEAU The Guardian Not that long ago I had a blog on the state of message boards particularly here with the QMJHL. Sadly I can report that not much has changed as far as people and some of the disheartening things they post. While I’ve lived up to my end to avoid responding to comments that fans have made I still keep tabs on what gets posted to get some sense of the mindset out there. Following the P.E.I. Rocket lopsided 12-6 loss to Saint John Sea Dogs there was the usual banter from both sides, but this one entry caught my eye from a Saint John fan known only as “ Chillywack”. “I think the most disrespectful point of this game came when the stupid, ignorant, PEI Rocket fan decided to yell out GO ROCKET GO during the moment of silence for the Bathurst boys in red.... absolutely disrespecful and uncalled for. He's a @$*%ing joke of PEI, and quite frankly should be shot in the god damned head.” Further postings by a person who actually knew people in Saint John that were at the game said that the fan yelled it just as they were announcing the moment of silence. It's bad timing at the very least and maybe some liquids added to the bravado. Certainly not worthy of the extreme reaction of shooting someone in the head. At the very least a “shut your mouth” was warranted. I wasn’t there so I can hardy vouch for the exact second it was said, but if it was yelled a second before the announcement then bad timing. If it was during the moment than it’s bad taste and someone with said fan should have reminded them what “moment of silence” means.

this is honest i would like to apologize for my disrespect on this message boards if you guys want to get to know me better plz do i am a really friendly guy and some of the stuff i put was not who i am i would never give someone a high five for spitting on someone but i don't agree with some stuff other's said about this one fan but it certainly does not reflect the rocket fans but that news article is true it's over with it's time to move on and there is no need to put a bullet in anyone's head.
personally i hope the person that yelled had some sort of mental problem because it is the most disrespectful thing for someone who understood what was going on to yell that again i am sorry for being a jerk on your webforums and i want to say good luck in this current season and for your many more seasons to come
