you don't think that having a kid around that is willing to bust his a$$ off to be scratched 33 of the first 35 games could have a tremendous positive effect? Someone who can give our players a live Q calibre goalie to shoot at almost whenever they want? It's great to say that someone like Dido or Grant or Howes has had the most impact, but they are only one player and we see their individual efforts. Passingham, on the other hand, is there to make everyone better. Because he is a project, he is undoubtedly facing large numbers of shots from everyone, improving everyone's game. And this can be seen in the depth of our scoring where we have 11 players (all our regular forwards except Liske and Gallant, plus Grant) and Liske is on pace for 9.8.

I never once said Passingham's attitude would not be a positive effect on teammates, but to say having a third string goalie around to take some extra practice shots and such on is the single strongest impact on the team winning games this year? No way in hell.

Well, we already know the BIGGEST impact was Dido. I was just throwing another name out there.

I agree with dogbert. Team Captain Alex Grant has had the most impact on team success this year. Of course, Dido, Howes and Fullerton have been key pieces but Grant gets my vote.
And yeah, while Passingham should be commended for his attitude (Nic Pard could have learned a little from Troy had he stuck around long enough) to somehow argue that he has had the most impact on team success is completely foolish.

no it isn't. having an obvious elbow for your display pic is completely foolish. Wow, good one... maybe you could start a thread about it. While we're in the current thread though, I'll re-iterate that claiming a goalie with one game played has had the most impact on team success is assinine. Is Richer second on your list?
