but he is facing the best night in, night out. as long as he steps up his play in crunch time, he'll be fine.

There's only 2 Q players period and 1 of them is from Belarus

ISS rankings for this month were out and only 2 Q players were in the 1st round. Stefanovich and Tessier.

Isn't that just a ranking of North American skaters? Factor in Europeans and goaltenders and even with those rankings Sauve drops to round 2. Impressive nonethless though!

Does not matter he was the best defenseman we had until Despres showed up. Both these guys are going to go further then any of our other defence anyway.

He could continue to drop or he could turn it around and start to climb back towards the top. All that matters is that he is #20 right now by TSN's rankings.

What really surprises me is that in ISS' most recent rankings, Robert Mayer is listed as the top goalie prospect. Hopefully he can steal a game or 2 for the Swiss.

They also don't have Poulin on the rankings at all. Mayer could really turn a few heads if he could put together a good second half / WJHCs.
But hopefully he can avoid Canada, so we don't have to cheer against him.

No there are Euro's in the list too But weren't they all CHLers? If so they'd be classifed in the NA rankings regardless of what country they're actually from.
