Dido, Grant, and Sauve are all getting regular ice time tonight. Dido and Grant have been getting some PP time as well. Russians are outplaying us.

I'm actually quite impressed with the way all the Sea Dogs have played up to now can't complain Grant with a nice hit Sauve is playing more physical then he normally does and Dido looked very strong on the puck on the PP when the Russians were hemmed in deep.
Great 1st period guys hope to see most of them play again tomorrow and Despres gets a shot to showcase his talent.

Rough night for Cat fans Riopel not doing anything special and Barberio is a -2
Dido is also 4 for 6 on Faceoffs too which is very good for him too of course it is only 1 period but worth noting because he's taken the most faceoffs so far ;D

I'm sure some will think I'm just bitchin on him but I'm telling ya through 2 periods Espo has looked more like Daigle then a superstar in this league not sure if it's cuz he's try'n to do it on his own or what.

Dido has played well, him and Hillier seem to have some decent chemistry. Grant is throwing the body around nicely too. 3-3 should be a good 3rd

Guess they thought it'd be a waste of time to pull the goaltender not that it would have made a difference but ya gotta try don't ya?
Not a great game for the Q guys maybe they should consider spreading out the offense. Bouchard can score a ton he needs someone to get him the damn puck!
Espo who? I'm not just hating Espo either to me he was constantly turning it over looking to do to much himself.
Once again we'll get to hear how much better the rest of Canada is by Peter Labooooodias and the rest of the Sportsnet crew.
Personally I'd rather see East against Telus would be much more interesting and then we don't have to be the Lab rats for the rest of the CHL

Can't really brag about too many players last night. Grant and Sauve both at -2. We had our moments and a great run in the second period but I think the best team won last night. They have some palyers with some serious wheels on that team.

I don't think the entire team played that well but our guys knew nothing about the Russians unlike the OHL and WHL who will no doubt be watching these games to scout the Russians we always get to play them first which kinda blows. Not to mention the fact that alot of guys just finished playing all weekend. They really need to consider breaking up the top line and have #7 Daigle enjoy some time of the 4th line! ;D |

Congrats to Dido with a goal tonight. Awesome to get the win the Q really needed it cuz Labooooodius will be cheering harder for the OHL and he'll be creamin his pants once they hit the WHL cuz that's his turf and Sportsnet favours the WHL & OHL. Call it ratings or whatever you want the OMJHL gets little or no respect IMO. Would have loved to see Dido clinch it on his last shot but we really needed the win but at least he got credit for the goal! |
