They needed to slow things down. What better than to call a time out and try to kill the sags momentum. Plus give the guys a breather. Doesn't matter now they pulled it out.

I agree with killer - lack of calling a time out didn't cause this mess. It's definitely not that simple.
Leave it to Dido to save the day. Would have been an even LONGER bus ride home had they lost.

No it didn't cause this mess but it might have slowed it down. Anyway like I said, moot point, they squeeked it out.

The sags would have the momentum no matter what we did as you could see. These kids are at the end of a grueling road trip and due to fatigue and making all sorts of mental errors. A time out after the second goal would have been about 30 seconds after the 10 min. mark timeout that had just happened.....agree that wasn't the answer......that looked like about 18 mins. of penalty kill.
