Totally agree with both of you redblue and maddog, some calls will go in your favor and some will go against, and in the end it usually will work out to be pretty even, however if we never brought it up on a board like this there would be no reason to have such a place. This is a good place to come and discuss such things as blown calls and if nobody did the board would be pretty dead....on the subject of the 3rd and 4th line sitting in the final period and not getting their chance to contribute, I couldn't agree more, but there must have been a reason for the descision that was made, because it's not a situation where they couldn't be trusted to get the job done or what's the deal with the writeup in the TJ. Very strange that the top 6 played until their tongues were hanging out and had nothing left if that is the case....I didn't notice as I was a bit buzzed by that time. Beer and hockey is a good mix, but beer and concentration don't go well together for me. I'll have to try and stay more on top of these things in the future, and pay less attention to how many mins. till the beer shack closes lol.

Some calls are bad, it happens. I think Halifax lost to Cape Breton on a blown call last week. Maybe the Halifax posters could verify this. Anyway 3 out of 4 points so far this week isn't to bad. Two more points tonight would be even better. I think the call against the SeaDogs was the first disputed-goal call to go the Mooseheads way all year. The one in CB that you refer to was a Voracek shot from not that close that apparently went in but the officials did not see. There were also 2 calls in the Lewiston game last week: 1 that went off a MAINEiacs skate but wasn't ruled a kick, and another off a high-stick that was ruled good. It's about time a call went the other way.

There was a disputed call that was pounded out of under Fullerton, and the ref didn't even review it. I thought if a team askes for it, that had to.
