Hockey Canada says that 16 year olds can't play out of region. Langan's is Hockey NB. He was drafted by Pictou-Weeks (NS). Thus he couldn't play there. Then, Moncton traded for him, with no intention of carrying him this year and assigned him to the Vitos. The Beavers were probably interested in having his services for the next couple of years when they host the Fred Page Cup ... If Hockey Canada is going to enforce the 16 year old out of province rule on the MJAHL (IMO they should consider the Atlantic provinces as one zone for purposes of this rule given the small population and geographical area involved), then the MJAHL should only allow 16 year olds to be drafted by teams in their home province.

Congrats to Andrew and all his supporters, probably won't see too much game time but will be better off in the long run being with the Dogs rather than the Vitos again. Be patient and work hard and we will get that local starter everyone would like to see. I hear he's still playing with the Vitos and only practicing with the Dogs. I also hear Mike Cormier is back.

With Gallant and Sparling out, and Pard jumping ship, aren't the Dogs short a body up front unless Langan plays?

Langan will be in the line-up tonight. He'll be pumped. I bet he gets lots of icetime and a goal or two.

That would sure be nice Dogbert. I really would like to see Dido score to get out of his mini slump. He looks very frustrated out there.
I don't care who scores as long as we get the W

Dido seemed to be really labouring out there last game...............looked to be injured and uncomfortable and took 2 brain cramp penalties. I hope it was nothing serious and is rested and ready to roll tonight.
