Did anyone else notice how Bezak kept turning his back on hits? He went head first into the boards twice because of it. A penalty was called on one. If he keeps doing that he'll end up in a whealchair and some poor kid tryin to make a tough play will take the blame. I never noticed HIM in particular but it's a horrible mistake A LOT of junior players make. You see it a lot from 16-18 year olds and sometimes even 19's and 20's. Morehouse for one does it but he'll do anything to draw a penalty. In the same vein Marquhardt got hurt trying to go low around the corner. That's just asking for a concussion or broken leg or worse. He's a big guy that should ride the boards high and not be afraid of the hit.

Oh give it a break!!! Thane called just as many penalties on your team, than he did on ours, and missed alot of penalties for both teams. You can't be blaming the ref for us coming back to win the game, and getting 3 goals!

I don't think Thane has the brain capacity to pick sides. He just blows in general, if nothing else he’s consistently bad.

If anything, we should be sending Morehouse a thank you note for being such a complete dumbass and taking a stupid penalty in the last minute.

the morehouse penalty was very blatant to say the least. i can't argue that one and i can't even begin to say how dissappointed i was in chris for doing that. he should know better. so arsey got one right. hmmm..... even a busted clock is right twice a day.....

now those of you who were at the game or saw highlights, or anything, was there at any point any controversy on that play in the 3rd period where arsehole had to go upstairs? funny thing was he was 3 feet from the net with nothing obstructing his view and he had to go upstairs? thats terrible. the guy shouldn't be doing games in this league. hell, even sea dogs fans sitting nearby me admitted that as much as they wished it was a goal, they knew it wasn't in. he's just another corey cassidy or mark hulshof.

When requested by the coach, on CLOSE plays, the referee must go upstairs and review the play. On this play, the puck entered the net and then not even half a second later the net got dislodged. These are the types of plays that referees are INSRUCTED to go upstairs on to review.

I'm curious why he didn't go upstairs for the one Moncton got the penalty on for crying about in the 2nd. Did Flynn not ask for a review? The puck was definately not in btw, I had a great view and saw it the whole play.
I'm curious why the subsequent faceoff wasn't moved outside the zone.

probably because arsenault hasn't got a clue what he's doing out there. another reason why he's damn near 40 and still nowhere near the NHL and most of his fellow officials are under 30.

Or, how about the fact he may, just MAY, have a full time job (like the majority of officials in the QMJHL does) and has no desire to goto the NHL?

I don't even know why I took 3 minutes from my life to even reply to this post maybe I'm drunk too

I'm not going to even bother trying to keep up a conversation with you, you obviously don't have enough brain intelligence to keep up with one.
