In 7 games he has 6pts, 15pims, and 15ghs. That describes a hockey player!

This aquisition should give our team a real serious 1-2 punch as far as scoring goes. The Dido,Spar,Liske line is giving opposition teams problems, now with a "second" line with possibly two 20 year olds, Hooper and Howes along with maybe a guy like Charland or Stoddard, this team will be hard to shut down. Which line do you throw your "shutdown" guys out against? Should give one line or the other some good chances to score. Hopefully Howes can stay healthy and have a productive year in a SeaDog uniform, last year he could have been a 40- 50 goal guy at 19(25 in 47 games) and so far this year his numbers are around a p/g, put him on a line with a guy like Picard-Hooper and he should have the potential for a great season.

Don't read to much into him only playing 47 games though he had no choice he had Mono. This is a great pick up for the Dogs I'd like to see him play with Picard and Leduc drop Gauthier down a line but that's just me.

Mono and a concussion...the year before it was an ancle injury...not reading anything into it just hoping he stays healthy

I assume the concussion was mild?
Mono would have taken him out for quite awhile I wasn't aware he had a concussion.

Could have swore I read that somewhere yesterday when I was looking for stats and such on Howes...can't seem to find it now though....maybe it was me with the concussion, could it have been a hallucination?
