Jordan Knox - Still hasn't been released to date that I know of which makes me think with every passing day and the deal isn't done that Jordan will be rejoining Summerside.
Travis Fullerton - I like the idea of having 3 20yr old forwards it does alot more for our offense that way and not using a 20 spot on a backup goaltender
Francis Guerette-Charland - Injuries have been a problem throughout his Jr career but I don't think they've been the type of injuries that are recurring (could be wrong)
My vote on who I think it will be at the end of the day is Knox.

IMO, I think it's best you get rid of Fullerton. If he's a backup goalie, I don't see the need to keep him around. Let the young guy go with it.

Fullerton, but is there a rush? We're back down to our limit with Pisano at Pictou. We can wait till January to see how things play out.

I voted for Fullerton to be gone in the poll, because thats what I think we should do.
I think this Knox release from Summerside issue though will end up meaning Knox gets let go because it gives an easy out instead of going with a risky judgement call/decision between him and Fullerton.

This is exactly what I think will happen maybe not what we all agree with but the home opener is tomorrow and as far as I know it's still not done yet. I wish it wasn't Jordan we need offense and I think he'll get used to playing this style if givin the time.

Just pick up Kennedy off Waivers- hes only 19 and had similar numbers to Fullerton last year. Unless you have a younger prospect you can bring in instead.

i think they should start passingham on the weekend and if he does okay, cut fullerton. Risky to use one single game as a measuring stick. If they were confident in Passingham then Fullerton would have been cut before the regular season began

yes, but the team rallied around Mayer in PEI. If it does the same for Passingham, he'd probably do better than Fullerton because the team has never given Fullerton that kind of support. I wouldn't be looking so much at Passingham, as to how the team reacts to having Passingham in net.

Just for the record the team didn't rally around Mayer in PEI, the Rocket simplyed played an absolutely horrible game. And even if you didn't see it look at the stats where Mayer was only peppered with 11 shots through the first 2 with limited scoring chances and even in the third where the Rocket did get credited with some shots several of those shots came close in scrambles because Mayer couldn't control/conver rebounds.
Not knocking Mayer but he is a rookie and is going to need sometime to adjust to the Q. And the best way to support him is with a solid backup goalie but with all due respect to Passingham as a 17 yr old rookie he isn't ready this season.
IMO Saint John's best option would be to pickup Kennedy on waivers. As a 19 yr old with 4 yrs experience he isn't great but he is a reliable backup for support. I still Fullerton is better but he takes up a 20 yr old spot and I don't think it makes sense to use an overager as a backup.
That would allow Saint John to keep Picard-Hooper, Charland & Knox to support your offense.
Sea Dogs fans should give Knox a chance he is a 20 yr old but still a rookie like others. Give him some time and after watching him in Jr A I think he could help provide secondary scoring to your team.
For a hockey standpoint I think that makes the most sense although unfortunately the issue of getting/paying for Knox's release might be the deciding factor.
Either way it is a good problem to have as adding Picard-Hooper was a huge addition to what I considered an already good team.

I do agree with you hockeyfan Mayer wasn't really tested often enough infact the lack of shots for the first 2 periods actually hurt him he lost his concentration a bit just look at the goal at the end of the second as a prime example. Although the heat was poured on the last few minutes and he did stand his ground.
I personally would like to see another capable backup so we could save the 20 spot for Knox. I have absolutely no problem with Knox at all I'd love to keep him but I just keeping waiting to hear the release has been taken care of and the longer it goes without being done the more I'm inclined to think he's the odd man out.
