Well a friend of mine heard it in Moncton tonight from someone high up in the Cats Organization. We will just have to wait and see I guess.

The idea all along was to play Charland once, and Knox once, then make a decision...
makes sense...but Charland seems to get more of an opportunity when he plays...I only noticed Knox on the ice a couple times...

I'm not sure Gallant would be much more than a sideways move over Knox. Knox seems to be capable of being a stand up energy player if need be. If we go after a 20, I'd like to see us really swing for the fences, like a Dean Ouellet

The Eagles would want way to much for Ouellet. Plus having to two bash brothers on the same team would be great marketing. I think that would be a great move.

I wanted Gallant to play for Saint John since the summer and was hoping that he would be traded to us last draft but it didn;t happen. He would be better suited for the role that Knox is playing right now on a crash and bang line. I am a fan of Knox, plays the game hard just a shame he is 20. |

If he is coming it would be nice to have him in the line-up by Saturday when we play Moncton because remember they're coming after Thomas...... "I was at the game sitting at the blueline the play happened at............Thomas ran him well after the pass had been made..............Don't need a tough guy to spear or stick out the knee...we will pay Thomas back...be sure"   |

How much stock should be put into Gallant coming to Saint John?? Not much considering we would need to give up 2 20's to allow Gallent to play as he is a 20yr. |
