Saint John Sea Dogs Home Opener [/b] vs Cape Breton Screaming Eagles [/size][/color] 7:30pm Harbour Station Cape Breton Screaming Eagles ( 1-1-0-0, 2pts, tied for 4th in the Eastern Divison) @ Saint John Sea Dogs ( 1-1-0-0, 2pts, tied for 4th in the Eastern Division) The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles are coming off a 4-3 set back to Halifax Mooseheads last Sunday night at the Centre 200 in Sydney. The Eagles had come back from a 3-1 defecit to tie the game, however the Mooseheads scored with less then 3 minutes remaining to take the win. Scoring for the Eagles were, former Saint Sea Dog, Jonathan Laberge, Kyle Mariani and Nicholas Chouinard. Marek Benda suffered the loss in net. The Eagles will be without the services of James Sheppard as he remains away at NHL training camp. The Saint John Sea Dogs are coming off a 6-3 victory over the PEI Rocket last Sunday evening in Charlottetown. Chris Didomenico knotched 4 points, including a hattrick. Ryan Sparling picked up a goal and an assist for 3 points, while Yann Sauvé knotched a goal and an assist for 2 points. Rounding out the scoring for the Sea Dogs was François Gauthier. Friday's game will feature the debut of recent acquisition Alexandre Picard-Hooper, who is expected to bolster the Sea Dogs offence this season. Brett Gallant will be serving his first of a two game suspension, which was handed to him after his recent actions during a game in PEI. The home opener will feature many prizes given away throughout the game. As fans enter the doors of Harbour Station, children will receive a replica Travis Fullerton helmet. Alpine will also have a pair of thunderstix on each fan's seat to be used during the game. As of Thursday night, roughly 5,000 tickets have been sold. TV: Rogers Television in New Brunswick. I think it's going to be a pretty decent game but dogs lose. I say 3-2, I honestly think the hometown crowd is going to cause a lot of nerves.
Edited to say but I hope I'm wrong, I can't concentrate on what I'm typing while watching hockey

I think it's going to be a pretty decent game but dogs lose. I say 3-2, I honestly think the hometown crowd is going to cause a lot of nerves. Edited to say but I hope I'm wrong, I can't concentrate on what I'm typing while watching hockey I think the crowd will cause some nerves as well...but I think the Dogs will ride the crowd to a 5-2 win. I think these guys are ready to put on a show and post some W's.

this is going to be a great night with lots of noise with a 7 to 2 seadog win goals coming from liske with 2,dido,picard hooper,k charland,grant and sparling all with solos. ;D
