When are we going to see what all the fuss was about with this pick? COME ON!!! GET REAL!!! THE KID IS 16... He has played a handful of games, in a new league, on a new team, with new teammates, away from home likely for the first time. Give him a year and you will see how ridiculous this post was...

Okay I thought I was done but I am not...did I mention the kid is 16? Personally I think he has made some mistakes and looked tentative at times but seriously give him some time...for the times he has looked suspect there are many times where he has showed huge potential and flashes of brilliance. This guy is gonna be good someday he just needs to develop like every other player. *sarcasm alert* Geez why not question Despres he doesn't skate like Grant, hit like Thomas and shoot like Stich...oh yeah he is 16 though... Why not question Mayer he let in 6 goals on 27 shots last night, let in 3 in PEI...9 goals in 2 games that stinks 4.50 (or so) GAA...oh yeah he is only 17 though. Come folks lets support these kids as they develop into NHL players.

I think that ALL rookies play under the same scenario. New team, away from home, etc, however, when you have been earmarked as a superstar, the expectations are and higher.

Thanks for pointing that out I didn't realize all rookies play under the same scenario... ;D My point is he has played a handful of games...give him some time...

When are we going to see what all the fuss was about with this pick? What are you expecting? I saw some awesom play last night. He made three nice setups and had a great scoring chance on one shift. Had he been playing with a Mike Bossy or Yari Kurri, he'd have at least two points and maybe three or four. This team is too deep to put him on the top two lines yet, but he has too much raw talent to stay down for long. I think he'll come close to dominating next season. BTW, you are a moron.

I saw him play when the Sea Dogs played the Rocket here at the Civic Center and I thought he did okay. He didn't stick out or anything like that but after watching him for a few shifts, you can tell that the skill is there. Mind you that was only one game and it will be interesting to see how he develops, but I agree, hard to label him a bust or a star after only 3 or so games.

I took the liberty of checking out a few others that must have been busts as well in this case so for the experts here ya go: Jarome Iginla major bust right? He only had 6 goals in 48 games for Kamloops in his rookie season but yeah he sucks shit! Few more losers just for fun all of course in their rookie seasons: Eric Staal - 19 goals in 63 games Ryan Smyth - 19 goals 64 games and we can't forget Simon Gagne who could only manage 9 goals in 51 games. Hey nobody ever suggested Steven Anthony would come in here and be the next Sidney Crosby!

Boys, boys, boys. If Score says he's a bust, he's a bust. I mean, he must know, every single PEI Rocket team have been a bust.

I was thinking...after two games they wanted to shoot the owner, run the GM out of town, fire the couch, burn down the CCC...so I understand why after 2 or 3 games they would say he was a bust.
