NOOOOOOOOO, every other team in our division wants the Rocket and Screaming Eagles to keep their respective coaches for ever ;D ;D ;D Agreed! ;D And you guys bit way too hard on his bust comment I’m not going to speak for him but by his lack of response to your rants and such it looks as tho you guys took his bate hook line and sinker. A mod trolling is a new one for me tho, meh it's all in good fun. Yeah no kidding! I'm pretty sure if he was serious about referring to him as a bust his post would have been more than 1 word. |

Steve Anthony hasn't stood out...and as a rookie thats a good thing, he's not making any stupid mistakes...he can hold his own on this team...unlike a 20 who doesn't stand out...his icetime is justified, and he will only get more comfortable in the next few weeks.

Barberio from Moncton was the same. They don't have the strength or speed at 16. He is immensely better this year. Will develop into a force next year. Takes time and development.

I like our young guys. Despres looks like a top-4 D-Man, and Anthony looks like a top-9 forward. Neither is spectacular all the time, but neither looks out of place on the ice either.
That's awesome for a pair of 16-year-olds in a 19-year-old's league. Barring injury, they should both progress nicely over the course of this year and next. Anyone expecting 50 points from Anthony needs to look at the league's history. I think 15 goals is a high, yet attainable mark to set for him.
I also have to include a comment on Kirkpatrick. If he works every game like he did against Lewiston, he'll be one of my favourite players. Just an impression, but he looks like a hard worker.

I hate to say this but Score is actually one of the better posters on here. You don't have to like what he says or even beleive it but I am sure that "BUST" comment was LACED with sarcasm and theres almost 3 pgs of fishies.

It's the start of the hockey season. A pure baiting remark like the one Score fired off of BUST allows people in hockey-fanatic mode to post. Any reason will do at this point in the year.
Just look at that stupid Brophy thread and all the action it's received.

Why wait? Retire his jersey now! He was the first player ever picked by the Dogs so it should go up in the rafters regardless of whether he fulfills expectations or not. ;D

I never siad you guys were a bust. I just pointed out that Sea Dogs fans can't call anyone else a bust as they have never made the playoffs....god people don't read.  What does the team's record have to do with my hockey knowledge? I've been around a hellava lot longer than two years there bucky. Your logic and hockey opinions are flawed. You drunk?
