Some random observations from the Magician after the weekend:
Great improvements in the rink, from the music to the soundsystem to the horn.
Our D is on track, but will still struggle at times this year. That's okay, they are still young.
Attention Yann Sauve: you are huge, start playing like it. It sickens me to watch only play tough with little guys out there. Start using your size, get mean, drop the gloves once in a while or your draft rating will begin to slide. Because your game is not that strong yet.
Leduc: you are the surprise of the year so far. Working hard, playing a scrappy game and providing some offense. Keep it up.
Fullerton: great job so far. You are going to earn yourself a trade to a contender if you keep this up, because we all know you are gone come Jan. 10.
Coach Beaulieu: stop worrying about yelling and giving the refs a death stare and start paying attention to your line changes. Three too many men calls in 2 games is unacceptable. Not to mention that Pascal Vincent had his team way more prepared than you had yours.
Alex Grant: mediocre weekend but I believe you will have a strong year because the improvements are obvious. Play simple and hard.
Despres: will likely end up being the finest defenseman in modern day Seadog history when all is said and done. The kid is a stud.
F. Charland: you don't look like a guy that is worried about his job. You should be.
Mike Thomas: Can't wait to watch you continue to run people over for the next few years. One of the most improved guys so far and you are becoming worth the price of admission alone.
Gallant: can't wait to see you play sometime this year.
Picard-Hooper: Mediocre weekend, but with your past statistics you have earned the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure big things are ahead, but you didn't look great.
Dido: no such thing as a sophomore jinx here. 100 points is on it's way.
Gauthier: I expected more this year, and it's not like you aren't getting ice time.
Splash: you need an extreme makeover. As Shaq would say, you look horriawful.
