Perhaps no one will fill the spot might just remain open until they find the perfect match for the team rather than just grabbing up who ever is available. Imo

What IF we don't get another 20 yr old. What is everyone's thoughts on that. There's gotta be a reason for dropping 2 of our 20's and not just 1 El With Gallant coming back from suspension and another 20 in the fold means a young rookie will sit I think we still have a extra body or 2 up front. Pard has yet to see the ice this season, interesting to see if this spurs on another roster move or 2.

i like Brad Gallant for that spot...scary energy line with little bro and Mike Thomas... Also, what's the possibility of trading for a guy like Dean Ouellet to fill a spot on the top two lines? edit: I also don't mind leaving the spot vacant for a while, and giving Pard a chance to show what he can do. He looked good with Stoddard in the preseason...

I would say a Ouellet trade is not likely to happen if they trade him he'd likely go to the Telus Division but that's just my opinion.

Trading for a guy like Ouellet will cost us a young roster player which is not worth it to us when we are not a favorite. Best to get a 20 at a low cost that fits our team well and hang onto the young players and let them grow togehter
