GAME DAY - SEA DOGS TAKE ON ROCKET TONIGHT AT HARBOUR STATION The Saint John Sea Dogs and PEI Rocket will face eachother for the second time in eleven days tonight when the two teams meet at Harbour Station for a 7:00pm contest.
On September 16, Saint John dominated PEI from start to finish in a 6-3 victory over the Rocket at the Charlottetown Civic Centre. Chris DiDomenico score a pair of shorthanded goals in that game on his way to the Sea Dogs' first hat trick of the season. He also dished out an assist to finish the match with four points.
The Sea Dogs also have momentum on their side courtesy a 6-1 victory over Lewiston this past Sunday, a game in which rookie defenseman Simon Despres registered his first career point while first-year forward Michael Kirkpatrick tallied a pair of assists.
The Rocket, meanwhile, are coming off of a defeat at the hands of the St. John's Fog Devils, who took the second of a two-game series versus PEI by a score of 6-3 at Mile One Stadium this past Saturday.
Game time tonight is set for 7:00pm. Fans can obtain tickets online or by calling the Harbour Station Box Office at (506) 657-1234.

Hopefully the real Sea Dogs and the real Rocket will show up tonight, and it will be a real interesting show. Toss-up: 4-3 in a shootout.
I'm hoping the webcast doesn't strike out tonight on three taken pitches. I'm looking forward to hearing what Bruce and Art have to say.

Look for the bell to toll for Walker. Brett and he may "happen" to get lined up at a faceoff at some point, especially with the Dogs having last change.
Thus far, I haven't seen a team that is going to the shootout. I've seen a team that can dominate and a team that sucks. If the dominant one comes out, we should win. If the other one comes out, things could get interesting.

Are you talking about Saint John or PEI?

If we lose, interesting for them. Didn't Stich get himself suspended last year for attacking one of their players for excessively celebrating?

I think Grant and Stich will keep this team motivated. They really don't like Geoff Walker.

Rocket either make a statement early(on the scoreboard), and take the game away from the Dogs, or they will be in for a long one tonight...Saint John will be physical in the game, they have to finish checks and have been working on it this week in practice, I look forward to an entertaining Dogs team in this one....any "paybacks" for Gallant on the "highstick" from the game on the Island...or will he get a bye??.....prediction..5-2 SeaDogs!!

I think this one comes down to the Dogs and discipline. IMO the Dogs have taken too many penalties this year. This game should be a physical tilt so if they can remain discipline we should win. If they continue the undisciplined play the Rocket will take advantage of it and win. Either way score 4-2.

Anthony, Gallant, and Thomas had a great 1st shift. Those two make Anthony play tough and he makes them play to score. I wonder who's job is harder¿ Fun to watch.

Three bad blue line snafus in the first 10 minutes by Grant, Despres, and I think Sparling that they are lucky weren't turned into odd man rushes. Playing with fire.
