and i bet it is the sea dogs fault because they dont want to pay the money for him anymore because they think he's not worth it. stupid organization. Not sure why all this makes SJ a stupid organization? We have no idea exactly what is holding the deal back other than money it's been noted that they believe it's to be somewhere between 5k - 10k but is it that simple or is there more to it then that? I'm sure all the details of this situation have not been released to the public. Unfortunately the one to suffer the most is Jordan seems to me he's had an extremely rough off season between hockey and health issues.

I don't think that some people realize that perhaps Beaulieu has waited this long is because of the health issues. He may want to see if Knox gets a clean bill of health before they dish out $5,000 - $10,000 to get him in a Sea Dogs uniform. If he had paid out that kind of money and it was discovered that Knox was unable to play for health reasons, people would have been wondering why he didn't wait to see if he could play or not before spending that kind of money.

it's not the health issues, thats for sure. The doctors already cleared him to play hockey. His health is the least of his worries.

a couple of weeks or so since training camp So if he didn't get clearance that long ago, how is that waiting until the last minute? Beaulieu could have been making the phone calls as soon as Knox was cleared to play and it has been going back and forth ever since. If he only got clearance a couple of weeks ago then it was because of health issues, as I said before, why spend that money on someone who might not be able to play for your team.

It could be that Summerside was not told or asked if Knox is available for tryouts or a possible signing and now they maybe holding his rights until Christmas when a decision could be rendered on his release, there are proceedures for such transactions and they should have been followed. Live and learn.

wow.you would think he would have a contract as a 20 year old first year player before he would even report that would keep this from happening. unless they are going to give him a package to leave....strange stuff.I feel sorry for the kid and if is over a release from jr. a to a higher level then i think summerside should be ashamed of themselves.nothing suprises me.they think every kid from the island should play for them as part of their birth right.

They may have had a deal in place but if Summerside doesn't release him then the Dogs can't do anything about it which is what makes it an easy out.
