I would assume he already has at least he better have if he was looking for an English university we have one which is a positive can't see this happening without knowing for sure Have to agree ...this has to be a done deal ;D....should be a good fit for him too, with him wanting to go to an English speaking city. He will be able to study in English and have a local francophone community to be there for him as well...does create an interesting situation with the 20's though.

Yeah you could definitely keep all 4 short term if Charland is injured... as mentioned dress a different backup then Fullerton.. but longterm you'd have to think either Fullerton or Knox are gone.
Anyways no matter it's a great deal for you guys.. brighter days are definitely ahead.. congrats

Funny how one of Picards's mentioned career highlights is a CHL player of the week award from 2004-2005 lol... Nice pickup, mainly because you guys need more scoring to go with a nicely rounded team, and you have to make the playoffs this year. 3 years without playoffs is too long with a new franchise. 3 years without playoffs is too long for any franchise in this league .. only 2 miss playoffs dude lol not that that was a concern this year.. but now the Dogs go from midpack to possible division contenders IMO.. the guy who predicted them 2nd might actually end up right (tho I still think 3-5 is more likely).

I think that's a safe bet with the roster currently at 25. I'd be surprised if Fullerton didn't leave.

If he was not released how did he play on Sunday? Could SJ lose the 2 points by playing an ineligable player (has been done before in this league). I don't think there is/should be a big rush to trade/release a 20. You guys have until January to make your decision on what 3 you want to keep.

If he was not released how did he play on Sunday? Gilles Courteau gave permission for Knox to play.

I read somewhere on here that the team had sent a request to the league to allow him to play can't member which thread I read it in but I'm sure it was legit either way. It's a toss up Knox or Fullerton?

So Courteau puts himself over Hockey Canada's rules? Well anything he does shouldn't surprise me, seems pretty arrogant. I could see the Jr.A team possibly taking him and the Q to court over this In all seriousness I think Knox should have automatically been released to be able to play at a higher level. What next, midget teams wanting cash because a 16 year old was supposed to be their star but made the Q?

This is a monumental pick up for Saint John. Definitely the biggest player move of the last couple months.
