Heard on the weekend, and today, that it looks like the Sea Dogs will be coming out of the east end of Harbour Station for their entrances this year. Still using the doors though.....
The reason for this is mostly about safety. Currently the Sea Dogs have to cross the opposing team's dressing room to get to the west end entrance, they've got the Zamboni's out around there, and it's shorter walk for them to the east end of Harbour Station.

blah i hate those damn doors. Rather them come out of a helmet. Makes more sence then a door but still very bad idea haha

I always wondered why they walked half way around the rink to hit the ice!
This makes more sense, but the video screen is at he other end, wonder if it will be used for the intro's like before, or if they have something new in store for this year.

I like the doors it brings a whole new dimension to game introductions and ultimately allows the change of what the dogs comes through via projector and video on doors pretty cool. Plus all the lights on that thing give fans a show they will never forget not many teams in the league have something as high tech as the dogs do.

Oh, the ever-so-famous doors.
Funniest game with those doors ... Jason Churchill having to bash them open when they wouldn't open for him!

True its had its moments also nicknamed the WALL OF SHAME because it was a Shame it never opened. I still like the idea of when it works due to the video behind played on the screen something that will have to be done now that the video screen is on the other end the lights on it do beat out blow up things with fog i think tho just my opinion.
