Give me a fricken break, this was the perfect time for Pisano to step up and send a message to his team that he will be there to stick up for them. Sea Dog fans seem to forget this was a MEANINGLESS exhibition game and are over reacting. You can tell Pisano lacks experience and will learn from this but to call down the play ridiculous, if anything it makes for an interesting game tomorrow. What do you mean Give me a break???The perfect time to take a STUPID penalty is 43 seconds after your team has tied the game...with all due respect Bubbs...who's talking here you or your evil twin..Conky..please give ME a frickin break....you don't squash your teams momentum by putting your own emotions before the needs of the team. Thats what Pisano did he saw the hit and didn't think ...he reacted, and that reaction cost the team a CHANCE to win the game. I would bet he doesn't make the same mistake in a meaningful game, now...thats because he might not get a second chance if it happens again. I'm sure the Coaches had a few words with Mr. Pisano following the game...kids will make mistakes all year, but these kind of mistakes are inexcuseable...good thing it happened in an ex.-game... or He may have found himself sitting in the stands with the rest of Us, or on a bus to somewhere else. Nobody (on the team or in the stands)has any doubt about Pisanos heart, he will stand up for himself and anyone else in the SeaDogs uniform...I for one now have questions about whats going on in his brain...hopefully he learned a lesson he will not forget...there is a time and a place for everything....IMO this was not the right time!! This was about sending his team and the league a message...........trying to make a name for himself in this league as a fighter and thats the role he was given on this team along with Gallant. No better way to get trust in your teamates by showing them you won;t stand for them being abused. Actions speak louder then words and I know his teamates respected what he did for them stepping up then what the score ended up being in preseason but it seems for a few posters preseason starts are quite important so I see your anger in blowing those few precious points to keep us out of first place

I'm sure the Coaches had a few words with Mr. Pisano following the game... I'm sure they did as well it probably went a little something like this: JB - Good Job kid Pisano - Thanks Coach I don't care if it's preseason or not it was the right thing to do. The only time I would be hesitant about it would be in the playoffs (or playoff like games like the last 3 of the reg season). The hit was obviously objectionable and needed to be addressed Pisano sent the message! It was a good penalty to take he was doing his job he defended his teammate. It's like hooking a guy on a on a partial brake sure your going to the box but it beets out what could have happened. The only thing that I'd be disappointed in if I was a Dogs fan would be that my team didn't kill off the penalty for Pisano so that dimwitted fans would not be able to accuse him of loosing the preseason game signal handily.

Apparently I overestimated you Killer.....It's NEVER smart to play stupid... inter-squad,pre-season, regular-season...playoffs...I'm sure it was appreciated by the player he was trying to defend...but you pick your spots if you want to play.., if not how does he react in the future with a MEANINGFUL game on the line...time will tell...and no the "precious points" were not part of the equation.. being accountable for his actions is the point of the conversation...AND IN MY OPINION he made a stupid move, which never bought him any credibility with the coaching staff...end of story from here.

Why did that offend you? That line was clearly addressed to fans who accuse Pisano of loosing the preseason game signal handily so unless you feel this way you have no reason to be upset, and if you do feel that way you know the old saying "If the shoe fits...." Who's hiding unfortunately I don't have the ability to show up at your door to give you my opinion but if it was at all practical to do so I would ... what are you gunna do beat me up? Take my lunch money? lol

Sounds as if the dogs played a respectable road game last night....looks like the titan may have gotten the early lead on us ...same as LEWI. did on Wed. night...but the SEA DOGS were able to fight back, and get back into it.. says something in its self,as this team seems to be ready to play till the final buzzer and doesn't look like a roll over when it gets tough kind of group(seen enough of that the 1st year and1/2)...as far as Pisano goes he's gotta play tough..but that doesn't mean to be stupid...the opportunities will come to prove himself...but not if he is a liability, giving odd man advantages doesn't go over too well with the coaches. Pisano has to be smarter the guys had the mojo goin after coming back from 2 goals down then he takes a 5 minute major you simply can't take bad penalties like that. I know he felt he was sticking up for a team mate but he obviously crossed the line and it ended up costing a goal and all the momentum the team had built up. No doubt he felt he was doing the right thing but you can't attack a guy if he doesn't wanna fight ya. This is where they could use a guy like Gallant he knows a thing or 2 about fighting and what to do in different types of enforcer situations. Sounds like Pisano could use a tutor i think your wrong and heres why if the dogs need the win then you dont do anything but in a game that means nothing you need to show the other team you cant go nailing our players and get away with it even if its clean , this way it tells other teams if you smoke our players you will have to deal with me (pisano) now if he goes over and the guy doesnt want to fight and he does nothing what message is he sending to the other team ? you can nail our players all night and as long as you dont want to fight i wont do nothing bottom line is hes protecting our players and imo thats what hes on the team for

Once again putting too much stock into preseason games.............Pisano sent a message to his team weather it cost them the game does not matter at this point I am sure JB will make sure he does not do this in a regular season game unless warranted All I'm saying was that it was terrible timing and the preseason is the perfect time to break habits like that all he had to do was get his number and get him later not when he's going off the ice on a change just a timing issue and the main thing for me is that he learns from it. Every player on that bench already knows he's not afraid to drop the gloves when called upon. its not about showing his team he will be there , its letting the other team know he will be there like i said hes letting the other team know you hit our players you better be prepared

My hope is that he learns from it and I am more then willing to make a beer bet with ya JB did not say "good job" to Pisano about the hit ;D I'm not saying he shouldn't kick the shit out of a guy I'm saying his timing of the infraction was off and it was.

I agree I would like to see how Pisano matches up with an experienced fighter..............just by the way he squares off you can tell this is all rather new to him but has started off alright and experience will only make him better. He turned down Mailloux a couple times in the 2nd period........ Would have been a good test for him..............I hope he is not a spot picker
