GOOD LUCK SECTION "K"!!!!! I HAVE SOLVED MY USHER PROBLEMS AND MOVED BACK UP ABOVE!!! KILLED 2 BIRDS WITH 1 STONE.....DONT HAVE TO LISTEN TO PITA PUT DOWN EVERYONE BUT HER BILLETT!!!! SHE IS ALREADY CALLING MAYER "SWISS-MISS" UNBSJ MUST BE PROUD TO HAVE HER ACTING DEAN.........NO WONDER PEOPLE GO AWAY TO SCHOOL!!!! My one regret about moving to a different section? I was so looking forward to making so many comments around Pita the first time Fullerton had a rough game or let in a weak goal. Nothing against Fullerton. Pita deserves the comments though after immediately calling Mayer "Oh it's that little Swiss Miss" when he and Fullerton switched in the game Saturday, and then calling him it again when he allowed that one goal. It was fun saying to her "Oh there's no holes in that swiss cheese!" everytime Mayer made a save though. ;D

The ushering better get ALOT better at least in section J/K. Tonight there were a group of kids at the bottom of section J, who were jumping all over the place, and hanging on the glass. One of them had one of those foam fingers, and ended up loosing it over the glass, and fell onto the ice. Now just imagine what would have happened had there been players skating in that area. It took quite a while for an usher to do anything about it. I believe there are rules at Harbour Station about people throwing or tossing stuff on the ice. Maybe Harbour Station should start enforcing the rules. I guess another question should be...where are the parents of alot of these kids. Seemed tonight, that alot of kids were without parents. Hey I have a great idea we can send the kids to Harbour station for 5 bucks sweet deal! Save alot of money on the babysitter tonight You hit the nail directly on the head, summer vaction is almost over but most parents still need a few activitiies to keep the kids busy until school starts.

It went beyond heckling and into harassment but no one ever did or said anything to her and I couldn't figure out why and she was at just about every sporting event in Fredericton. Then one day I was reading the paper and there she was and she was a City Councillor which explained why no one said anything to her. The loudest and rudest hecklers are usually someone in some type of power position. So keep heckling her back and make people aware of who she is, maybe if she ends up on You Tube it might curb her comments.

As an outside fan, now I'm curious about this woman. What other things does she say at games? Is it just saying things whenever something doesn't work out for players she likes or is she just a full fledged heckler?

Does she actually yell it out, or does she loud talk more towards the people around her?

I have only sat in/near that section once so I can't comment beyond that game. She billets Fullerton though and the moment he was pulled and Mayer hit the ice, before play even started, she did her first "Swiss Miss" comment. It wasn't like she shouted it out or anything but it certainly wasn't spoken softly either. You'd have heard it easily sitting within 5 rows or so even with some other noise around.
The second Swiss Miss comment was made right after Moncton scored on Mayer and definitely made for my benefit because I blasted her after her original one saying just because she billets Fullerton doesn't mean she has to bash the guy taking his job. Thus why I kept saying "This swiss cheese doesn't have any holes in it!" every time he made a save afterward.
I find it funny. I thrive off that sort of confrontation. Side entertainment to the game itself. Let's go to Chicoutimi!!! ;D

Last year (at Mile One here in St. John's of course), an usher came down to me and my friends right away because she thought we didn't have tickets for the front row and then she warned us about not banging on the glass (I don't see whats wrong with that) or anything. We didn't even do anything, we were just sitting down and enjoying the warm-up.
She was a stupid one, and shouldn't have told us anything if she was just assuming we would be a bother. But I'm happy at the ushers here for the most part.
