Stoddard has been invisible for the most part of training camp IMO, has not stood out which is not a big surprise considering his age. I think everyone is overrating Stoddard for this season............I don;t expect a great deal from him other then showing flashes that he can put up points down the road. He will likely have to work on consistency this season.............he will only be 17.

I'll give him this much ...he's ahead of last years pace with 2-goals in the pre-season so far, compared to what.. 1 in 23 games last year ...but AWESOME?....I wouldn't be re-nameing the stadium after him just yet...would 10-15 goals this year be awesome...if you think so then I think he has a chance to be awesome...but I don't see him tearing it up with his role in the lineup...or am I missing something?

He has perhaps the best hockey sense on the team. He see's the ice better than anyone. It's his physical skills I question: speed, strength, and shot. Your right that his role probably will not let him get the points he's capable of. But I don't think anyone expected Dido to get a ppg last year either. I say 45pts.
